In March of 2022, Forsyth County Schools adopted Canvas, a learning management system. Please visit the links below once student accounts are active for quick guides on how to create an Observer account in Canvas. First, create your account and then install the app on your mobile device (if desired). Additionally, there is a full Canvas Course that parents can review for a complete overview of the Parent/Observer role in Canvas.
Logging into Canvas
Students
Students will log into ClassLink and launch Canvas. Click the following link for a short video tour of the student Canvas interface
Parents
Parents/guardians are considered Observers in Canvas. Observer accounts can be connected to a single student or multiple students. Observers can view course content, assignments, due dates, and events, but are not able to participate in a course.

Who do I contact for support?
- Parents can access additional help documents in the Canvas Observer/Parent Guide. If needed, parents can email Julie DeLong (jdelong@forsyth.k12.ga.us) for additional support.
How can my child access support for Canvas?
- Students should always check with his/her teacher if additional support is needed. Students can also access help in the Canvas Community Student Help Section.
How do I view my student's grades?
- To view students' overall course grades, please visit Infinite Campus Parent Portal at https://campus.forsyth.k12.ga.us/campus/portal/forsyth.jsp.
