Forsyth County Schools is on the forefront of online education through the following endeavors:

 

1. Forsyth Virtual Academy - Georgia's first full-time online school that offers a high school diploma.

 

2. Blended Learning - all teachers and students have access to itslearning, our learning management system (LMS), that allows teachers to provide online support to face-to-face classrooms. We were the first major school system in the southeast to adopt a blended learning approach system-wide.

 

3. Georgia Virtual School - students are allowed to take one course per semester as part of their regular school day (at no cost) if the course is not offered at the student's school or at Forsyth Virtual Academy.

 

Students who are interested in online education should speak with their counselors before applying to any program.
