Hi! My name is Tiffany Denison and this is my eleventh year at Settles Bridge! This is my fifth year in first grade. I also taught 2nd grade for six years. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, as well as my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am so excited to be your first grade teacher! First grade is such a fun grade! Teaching is my passion! When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also love to travel and read books. I have four children, three girls and one boy. I am looking forward to working together to provide a successful and amazing year for all of my students.

My name is Jody Mathews and I am excited to be your child’s first grade teacher. It is a privilege to become a part of the amazing staff at Settles Bridge Elementary School.   I am excited to continue providing a safe and loving environment for your child to learn and grow.  I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I taught in Gwinnett County Public Schools prior to staying home with my children. My husband Justin and I have 2 boys, Hudson (10) and Tanner (7).  I have over 10 years of teaching experience, most recently the last two and a half years teaching a transitional kindergarten class.  I can’t wait to meet you and continue our first-grade journey together!

Hello! My name is Berry Phillips and I am SO excited to be teaching first grade here at Settles Bridge Elementary School. I graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, as well as my Masters Degree and Gifted Endorsement (Go Dawgs!). I currently live in Alpharetta with my husband, Brian, and our two cats. In my free time I love exploring new cities, photography, and reading a good book. I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of my students and see what adventures this school year holds! My goal is to create a love of reading and learning in my first graders that will last them a lifetime. I'm looking forward to having a great school year together!

Hello! My name is Stephanie TeBeest and this is my second year at Settles Bridge, but my 9th year teaching. I have previously taught in 2nd grade, but the majority of my career has been spent in 3rd grade. I grew up in Marietta and graduated from Kennesaw State University with my degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, I taught in Marietta City for 7 years until 2 years ago, when my husband, Bryce, and I bought our first house in Dawsonville, and I decided it was time to find somewhere closer to our new home. I am so excited about being your first grade teacher! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, and lounging around the house with my husband and our dog, Oenomaus. I am looking forward to a wonderful year together!
