I am absolutely thrilled for another year of teaching at Settles Bridge. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a bachelors in Early Childhood and Special Education. I love watching students grow and progress. I have coached swim at LifeTime Fitness for 4 years and my favorite part was the relationship with the kids. I enjoy staying active by working out, weightlifting, and playing basketball. I'm so excited for another terrific year!

I love being a teacher at SBE! I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University in Montgomery, Alabama. I taught kindergarten for three years and preschool for five years. I have been married to my husband, Eric for 27 years and we have three children that have all attended Settles Bridge Elementary since we relocated here in 2011. This is my sixth year in third grade, and I absolutely love it! I am looking forward to all the learning, fun and great memories that are made in 3rd grade.

Welcome to third grade! My name is Kristine Loughman. I graduated from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a Master's Degree in Education. When I’m not teaching, you can find me reading, going for a run (I ran my first half marathon in 2017 and haven’t stopped since), keeping the chipmunks out of my vegetable garden, and hanging out with my husband, two daughters, and our dog Eddie. I love teaching at Settles Bridge and I can’t wait to build a classroom community where we can all learn from each other!

I’m excited to join the third grade team this school year. Previously, I was a proud member of the 4^th grade team for thirteen years at Settles Bridge Elementary.  I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of North Georgia & my Masters in social psychology from Georgia State University.  In 1999, I received my Masters of Education from Georgia State University and began teaching in Gwinnett.  I have also earned a Gifted endorsement.  After marrying, my husband and I settled in Forsyth County.  We have twins currently in college.

I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade in DeKalb County, as well as preschool for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. I have been a paraprofessional working in Kindergarten and Science Lab at Johns Creek Elementary. At SBE, I have been a Kindergarten paraprofessional and taught second grade for the last four years. I am excited about teaching 3rd grade at Settles Bridge for this school year!

Welcome to Third Grade! I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 12th year teaching at Settles Bridge Elementary. I am thrilled to start teaching some amazing third graders! I look forward to sharing my excitement for learning with you and your family all year!
