Brandy Forde - Assistant Principal

I am beyond excited to be joining the Knights family in my new quest!

Growing up as the daughter of a farmer, I was taught to meet the needs of the plants to help the garden grow. It was this ongoing lesson that most impacted my view on education and leadership. It was my additional experiences as a student, educator, and parent that have formed my core values. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of connections and relationships with anyone who is part of the school community. I believe that the first step to building connections is to show respect for all. To grow these connections, I believe that I must be willing to learn and grow myself. As I step into my new role, I am eager to begin building connections with the students, families, and  community of Sharon. I can’t wait to see the harvest we can bring in together!

I hold a dual Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education and a Master's degree in Middle Grades and Education from North Georgia College and State University. I also hold both a Specialist Degree and Doctoral Degree in Elementary Education from Brenau University.

When not at work, I love to read in my spare time and spend time with my family. My husband, Graham, and I stay busy with our three children, Emmerson, Everleigh, and Ean.
