Mrs. Kristen Craig
I am so excited to join the Sharon family this year! I have over 20 years of teaching experience and have taught in both public and private schools. I earned an Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree from the University of Alabama. I have enjoyed teaching 2nd & 3rd grades and working as an academic and reading intervention teacher. Teaching children to read is my passion! I have also worked privately as an Orton-Gillingham tutor for families and found it to be very rewarding to see each child’s growth.
My husband, Sean, and I have been married for 17 years and have two children, Houston (14) and Calista (11). We also have a sweet golden retriever puppy named Baxter (9 months) who keeps us all busy. My son Houston will be an 8th grader at Riverwatch and plays football and lacrosse. My daughter Calista, although some of you may already know her as “Scar” from Sharon’s recent Lion King performance, will be a 6th grader at Riverwatch.
I am a huge Alabama football fan and love football season! Roll Tide! You will definitely find me wearing Crimson on game day. In my free time, I enjoy ubering my kids around, watching my son play sports and attending my daughter’s dance competitions and musical performances. Outside of the classroom, I also enjoy doing diy crafts, playing tennis and shopping.
I look forward to meeting each of my students and can’t wait for the year to begin!

I am so excited to join the Sharon family this year! My family and I recently relocated from southern California, where I was a first grade teacher for the past three years. Prior to first grade, I was a reading and math intervention teacher for kindergarten through sixth grade. When I was little, I dreamt of being a teacher and working with students. I am so grateful to share my passion for learning with students. I am thrilled to be teaching first grade this year, as the primary grades hold a special place in my heart!
I am originally from Georgia, and received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. In California, I went to California Lutheran University to earn my elementary teaching credential. My husband, Joe, and I have a five year old son, Noah, who will also be starting kindergarten this year! We are happy to be back home in Georgia with friends and family. I look forward to an amazing year in first grade here at Sharon!

Mrs. Kim Stilwell
I received my teaching degree at Florida Atlantic University and started my teaching career in Florida. Since moving to Georgia 22 years ago, I have taught in Fulton, Gwinnett, and Forsyth county. I most recently taught Kindergarten at Sharon for 4 years and then took a hiatus for the past two years. I am so excited to be back at the greatest school in the world teaching 1st grade. I really enjoy teaching, and I find it a challenge trying to figure out each and every child, cultivate their strengths, and then ignite their passion to learn new things. I am married and have three amazing children. One at UGA (Kaylee, 20), one in high school (Calvin, 16), and one in 5th grade (Kellen, 10). Some of the things I enjoy are reading, running, gardening, and spending time with my family. I look forward to a wonderful year and thank you for trusting me with your most precious gifts.
