Mrs. Donna Evans

My name is Donna Evans and I live in Cumming with my husband, Scott.  We have two adult children, our son, Hayden, and daughter, Connor. Hayden is a proud graduate of Georgia Tech and is working as an engineer. Connor graduated from University of Georgia with a Public Relations degree. They both are currently living in NYC, my favorite destination! Yes, we are a house divided!  We are also proud owners of two crazy wiener dogs, Norman and Jack.

I am originally from Pennsylvania and graduated from Bloomsburg University with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood.  Reading is my passion and I have completed the following programs: reading recovery, reading endorsement, and Orton- Gillingham.  I will be beginning my 32nd year of teaching this fall.

I look forward to a year of learning, relationships, and fun!

Mrs. Samantha Francisco

Welcome to first grade! I am so happy to be part of the Sharon family! Teaching is something I have wanted to do since I can remember. It brings me so much joy to work with children and to help them find the fun in learning!

My family and I live in Cumming, GA. I am originally from Georgia, and received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. Later, I  went to California Lutheran University to earn my elementary teaching credential. I am married to my husband, Joe, and we have two boys, Noah and Cooper. We also have a goldendoodle named Georgie. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, shopping, exercising, and spending time outdoors with my family. I look forward to an amazing year in first grade!

Mrs. Kim Stilwell

I received my teaching degree at Florida Atlantic University and started my teaching career in Florida.  Since moving to Georgia 23 years ago, I have taught in Fulton, Gwinnett, and Forsyth county.  I most recently taught Kindergarten at Sharon for 4 years and then took a hiatus for the past two years.  I am so excited to be back at the greatest school in the world teaching 1st grade.  I really enjoy teaching, and I find it a challenge trying to figure out each and every child, cultivate their strengths, and then ignite their passion to learn new things.  I am married and have three amazing children. One at UGA (Kaylee, 21), one in high school (Calvin, 17), and one in 5th grade (Kellen, 11). Some of the things I enjoy are reading, running, gardening, and spending time with my family.  I look forward to a wonderful year and thank you for trusting me with your most precious gifts.
