Mrs. Charla Altom
I am a two-time graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, which is my hometown. I completed a bachelor's and a master's degree in Elementary Education. I am proud of maintaining a 4.0 in my graduate work. I am beginning my twentieth year of teaching.
This is my seventh year at Sharon, and I have taught in Fulton County, Gwinnett County and in Birmingham, Alabama. Teaching at Sharon is like a dream come true. Sharon Elementary is by FAR my favorite place to teach!
My husband and I have just celebrated our twenty-seventh anniversary. We have an eighteen-year-old daughter, Carly, who is a Lambert High School graduate (2024) and is beginning her freshman year at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. We live in Johns Creek and have lived in that area for almost 20 years.
In my spare time, I love to read, travel, and spend time at the pool and beach. My family is very important to me. My husband and I enjoy eating out and exploring new restaurants. I am also an avid Auburn fan.
I want your child to experience a kind, loving and caring teacher. I am flexible, nurturing and very approachable. I want this to be the best year your child could dream of having. My classroom has a “family atmosphere” and I know this is one of many reasons we all love Sharon. This reputation led me to the school, and I could not be happier or prouder to be a part of the Sharon Family! I cannot wait to get to know you and your child!

Hi Knights! I am a graduate of the University of North Georgia, and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Sharon again! I earned my masters degree from Valdosta State University in 2020. I have a passion for making learning fun and challenging students to be the best version of themselves both inside and outside of school! Although I have lived in Georgia for a majority of my life, I will forever be an Auburn girl. War Eagle! My husband and I have two dogs, Moose and Gunner, that we love to take to the lake. Outside of school, I love to bake, travel, and spend time with my family. I am looking forward to an exciting and wonderful year in 3rd grade!

Hello Knights! My name is Annalyce Flynt and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year. I attended Georgia Southern University, but finished my teaching degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This will be my 20th year of teaching in both North Carolina and Georgia. I have an array of experience of teaching PreK all the way up to 7th grade. It is my love and passion and I cannot wait to pour into my students here at Sharon Elementary!
I am a true Georgia Peach, originally from Warner Robins, Ga but we have called Suwanee home for 22 years now. I am happily married to my husband Butch and we have boy/girl twins that will be Juniors at Lambert High School (Hook ‘em Horns). Bryce and Abby Grace keep me busy with sports year round, but I also enjoy working out, going to church, and spending time with family and friends.

I am very excited to be teaching at Sharon Elementary. This is my 28th year of teaching elementary school in both Georgia and New Hampshire! I am married to my wonderful husband, John, and have four sons; Shane, Zachary, Ryan, and Kyle. I also have three fur babies, two dogs- Dunkin (Golden Retriever) and Chloe (Shih Tzu) and 1 cat - Little Joe. We are always busy and having fun with the family. My favorite things to do are reading, hiking, boating, shopping, and watching my boys play sports. Our family loves cheering for the NE Patriots (and all Boston sports teams).
I grew up in Pennsylvania and received my teaching degree at California University of PA. After college, I moved to GA, where I began my career teaching Kindergarten and first grade. My family and I moved to up NH for two years where I taught second grade, then we moved back to GA for 3 years and I taught 3rd grade. Our family missed the seasons and beauty of New England, so we moved back to NH for 3 years and I taught a year each in first grade, second grade, and fifth grade. Even though we absolutely love New Hampshire, we decided to move back (for good!) to be closer to family. We are excited to have made our home in Forsyth County. I am absolutely thrilled to work with you and your child to make their third-grade year a wonderful experience.

Mrs. Amy Stallings
Hi! My name is Amy Stallings and this is my third year at Sharon Elementary School teaching 3rd Grade. My family moved to the area in May of 2020 and two of my three children have attended Sharon. Before moving to Forsyth County I was the Director of a private Preschool for six years. I have also taught 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Cobb County, Gwinnett County, and Alexandria, Virginia. In total this will be my 15th year in Education.
I am a Georgia native and grew up in the East Cobb area. My husband and I met in college at Georgia College in Milledgeville, where I earned a B.S. in Education. We moved to Washington DC where I taught 6-8th writing, social studies, and ELA. We made our way back to Georgia and I taught upper elementary in Gwinnett County before taking several years off to be a stay at home mom to my three children.
My husband and I have been married for 21 years and have a 16 year old son (Jackson), a 14 year old daughter (Charlotte), and a 11 year old son (Garrett). All three of my children are involved in sports and activities in the South Forsyth area, so I spend a lot of my time going to baseball games, Cheer Competitions /performances, and musical events. Jackson is in the 11th grade at Lambert HS, Charlotte is in 9th grade at Lambert HS, and Garrett is a 6th grader at South Forsyth MS.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family! We love to get out and hike, travel, and play with our dog Duke (the cutest German Shorthaired Pointer ever). I am looking forward to another amazing school year with a fabulous bunch of 3rd grade friends!

Welcome to Third Grade! I am thrilled to be at the beginning of another school year! Here is a little background about me: I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. Teaching is what I love to do and it's where my heart is. I love helping students discover a love of learning! It's amazing to see how much growth they make in a year.
This school year marks my 19th year of teaching. I spent the first 6 years of my career teaching second grade in Jackson County. This year is my 13th year as a third-grade teacher at Sharon Elementary. I couldn’t be more proud to call myself a Sharon Knight!
I am originally from the Hudson Valley in NY, and went to college in Boston, Massachusetts. While in Boston, I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Human Development. After college, we moved to Georgia, and I later went on to earn a master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
My husband Matt and I have three amazing kids. Our oldest, Dianna is currently in school for Interior Design; our son, MJ is in 8th grade; and our youngest, Shea is in 5th grade here at Sharon. We also have two dogs named Ollie and Penny. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family. You’ll find me cheering on my son on the football field, reading, trying out new recipes, or watching sports - we’re big Giants and Yankee fans!
I cannot wait to meet my new group of third graders. I know it's going to be a fantastic year!

Hi Sharon family! I am thrilled to be teaching another year of third grade at Sharon Elementary! I graduated from Florida State University in 2005 (GO NOLES!), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in art education. In 2014, I finished my Masters in curriculum and instruction with an Endorsement in ESOL, from Concordia University, Chicago.
I am originally from the beautiful city of Chicago, and lived there most of my life. While I was there I taught elementary school art for about ten years. I’ve lived in the Johns Creek/Suwanee area for the past eight years and have loved being a classroom teacher in both Forsyth and Fulton counties. I have experience in kindergarten, third grade, and fifth grade.
I have two kids, Zac (12) and Ainsley (10). We love being a part of this beautiful community and spend most of our time at baseball tournaments, cheer competitions or outside with neighbors and friends. I am looking forward to getting to know a whole new group of Sharon students and their families. I’m soooooo happy to be back!
