Mrs. Kristina Holmes

Welcome to fourth grade! We are going to have a blast together as we learn many new skills and become a class family! We will get creative, work hard, and laugh a lot along the way! I cannot wait to challenge you and watch you soar! It’s going to be a lot of fun! Let’s get going!

My husband, Thomas, and I got married on a beach in 2016. Our son, Thomas (You will hear a lot about him!) turned five this year and will be in kindergarten here at Sharon! We enjoy trips to the bookstore, exploring new playgrounds, and getting messy together! He really does keep us on our toes, but we LOVE every moment!

This is my 18th year teaching. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade…all at Sharon! I am dual certified, have earned multiple endorsements (gifted, ESL, and reading), and later earned my Specialists Degree in Teaching and Leadership. I am passionate about flexible seating, group projects, having freedom in the classroom, AND Harry Potter! Teaching is my passion, and I cannot wait to see what you can accomplish during our year together!

I was a virtual teacher the last two years, so I am so excited to be back face to face with YOU! We will become a class family and have a lot of fun learning along the way! I cannot wait to get to know you and make memories together!

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Meredith Infante

A Forsyth County graduate myself, I graduated from UGA (Go Dawgs!!) with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I spent 5 years teaching 1st-3rd grade Gifted classes in West Palm Beach, Florida before moving back to Forsyth County to be closer to family and friends. This will be my second year at Sharon and on the 4th grade team. I am a huge nerd at heart and LOVE finding ways to mix STEAM into all subjects.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy hiking, gardening, running, and traveling to new places with my husband Miguel and our dog, Benji.

My goal this year is to help your child become a lover of learning and to reach their full potential! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us! Go Knights!!

Mrs. Kate Lightstone

Born and raised in New York, I moved to Georgia with my husband fourteen years ago. He is a chiropractor, and we have two beautiful boys and two fur babies! Outside of school, I love doing all things crafty, reading, hiking, and creating memories with my family.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades - including four years in an all-boys classroom! I have a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences and relationships within my classroom. Each year brings an opportunity to create an in-school family unit, who support and encourage each other throughout our learning adventures. This will be my thirteenth year teaching, and I am so excited to meet my new class family!

Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Courtney Miotti

Hi there! My name is Courtney Miotti and I am absolutely ecstatic to be returning to fourth grade at Sharon Elementary for my fourth year! I was raised in Georgia, primarily here in Forsyth County, so this area has been home to me for a very long time. I take pride in graduating from Georgia College and State University (Go Bobcats!) with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Additionally through Georgia College, I received a Reading Endorsement and became an Apple Certified Educator.

One of my greatest passions is cultivating relationships with my students- I love hearing their stories and perspectives on the world. My former students would describe our classroom environment as a big, happy family that has fun and works hard. My goal as an educator is to be someone who not only highly engages students in the grade level content, but also inspires students to grow as individuals through learning valuable life skills such as kindness, problem solving, and building confidence through self- advocating.  I have fallen in love with this profession and community, and I am looking forward to another amazing adventure in fourth grade this year!

In my spare time, I enjoy going out to eat and exploring new places with friends, going to the gym, roller blading, playing volleyball, and reading. I love volunteering in various capacities as well. I have been a mentor leader for many different students ages 4-18 in multiple diverse environments. I am currently mentoring a fabulous group of senior girls at my church- they bring my heart so much joy!

Mrs. Laura Teague

I am so excited to be on the fourth-grade team at Sharon again this year! This will be my second year here paired with several years working in education in Alabama. I’m a native Georgian and got my bachelor's of Science in Education at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). I also completed my Master’s in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I am passionate about creating a classroom environment where all learners feel welcomed, valued, challenged, and supported. I love pouring into the students in the Sharon community!

Outside of school, I am mom to two toddlers-ages six and three- and one very lazy Golden Retriever. They keep me on my toes and bring me so much joy! My husband and I are actively involved in the local community, and we enjoy spending our time serving elementary students at our church. In my free time I love to walk, read, travel, shop, and bake!
