    Hey there! My name is Hope Cleveland, and I currently teach 2nd grade. I graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA, 10 years ago and have been teaching ever since. This school year, I will graduate with my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, specializing in reading and mathematics.
    I have lived in Forsyth County most of my life and attended all Forsyth County Schools. I LOVE teaching at Silver City and can't wait for another school year! I have a fantastic husband named Cory and two daughters, Piper and Collins (ages 6 and 3). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family on many fun adventures. I love the Georgia Bulldogs, coffee, and my sweet family and friends. Here is to an amazing 2024-2025 school year! Go Comets!

     Ms DeJean  Regine DeJean
      Bonjour mes amis! Hello my friends! My name is Ms. DeJean. Ever since I was a young child, I wanted to be a teacher and after several years of teaching I am still living my dream! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog, gardening, watching tennis, engaging in DIY home projects and listening to retro French and Italian music. I also LOVE Starbucks coffee! This is my fourth year teaching in Forsyth County Schools, and I am very excited to be your child’s new grade two teacher! I have over ten years of early childhood education teaching experience. I have taught in New Jersey, Ontario, Canada and now in Georgia. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Family Studies and a Master of Science degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. My educational philosophies are "Learning Can Be Fun" and "The More You Read, The More You Know". My colleagues and I are here to support you and your child's learning development. Therefore, communication is key to our successful partnership in educating your child. I look forward to working with you and your family.

    My husband, Richard, and I have been married for 24 years and have 4 children - Gracie is in college, Abigail is at NFHS, Amelia is at NFMS, and Joshua is a Comet at Silver City. This will be my 4th year as a Comet! I earned my Specialist degree from Piedmont College and my Bachelor's degree from the University of Montevallo. I taught 1st & 2nd grade in Gwinnett county for 7 years, then took time off to be home with my children. I love being a learner and being a teacher; I intentionally build connections with students and their families to create a positive learning environment.

    Grace Lambert

    I will be going into my fifth year as a Comet and teacher.  I graduated from UNG with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. I have my master's degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. Over the summer, my husband and I welcomed our first child into the world. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family including my two fur babies. I am super excited to meet my new class and to continue sharing my passion for learning.

    Pritchett  Shelley Pritchett
    I am so excited for another year of learning and sharing here at Silver City! This will be my twelfth year teaching with nine years spent at Shiloh Point Elementary in south Forsyth. I received my bachelor's dual degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education from University of North Georgia. I live in Dawson county with my husband, Stephen, and two daughters, Sadie and Stella, who are in fourth grade and first, respectively. It is my passion to create a positive learning environment where students feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. I can't wait to serve the families of Silver City this year!

    This will be my 22nd year as an educator and my 3rd year at Silver City. I am thrilled to be joining the second-grade team this year! My husband, Ryan and I have been married for 20 years. We both graduated from Florida State University. We have a son, Sterling, 14. Most weekends you will find us watching our Seminoles play. I also enjoy reading, lounging. by the lake and spending time with our golden retriever pup, Autumn. I have one of the best jobs in Forsyth County and I am so fortunate to be a Silver City Comet!

    I graduated from UNG with a BS and a Masters In ECE. I have been actively teaching for 24 years. I took time off from teaching to raise my two amazing children who are now married, Alex (Robby) Williams, and Carson (Reagan) Papp. I have been married for 34 years to my best friend David Papp. I love teaching and the experience of watching children's ideas and thoughts blossom and grow through learning and engaging experiences. I love the relationship we build in the classroom.

    Hi friends! My name is Janna Quatela. This is my 5th year at Silver City and I love being a Comet! I attended the University of North Georgia and graduated with a dual degree in General Education and Special Education. I have a Reading Endorsement, ESOL certification, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Math. I taught first grade for six years and this will be my first year in second grade! My husband and I have a daughter, Layla (4), and a son, Luca (1). We love spending time with them and taking family trips. I am looking forward to another great school year!
