Lindsey Richardson - Assistant Principal

I am so excited about another great year at Vickery Creek Elementary! My first year teaching was at Vickery Creek Elementary School in 2004! That means that my second-grade class is in their late 20’s!! I have taught First and Second Grade as a homeroom teacher and K-5 as a special education teacher during my first eleven years as an educator. I played soccer throughout college and graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2003. Next, I earned my Master’s degree from Mercer in 2013 and then my Specialist from Georgia College & State University in 2014. I was blessed to be able to come back to Vickery Creek in 2015 as an Assistant Principal. The students, staff, teachers, and the community know how to make this feel like home.

When I’m not at school you will certainly find me with my husband, Jay, and my three kids. Caleb is a 10th grader at North Forsyth High School, Kennedy is in 8th grade and Taylor is in 6th grade at North Forsyth Middle School! We love to be outside and are always looking for our next adventure. I am ready for another great year working with you!

Sandy Wells - Assistant Principal

My name is Sandy Wells and I am proud to serve students, families, and staff at Vickery Creek Elementary School as Assistant Principal. This is my 21st year in education. Throughout this time, I have served as a classroom teacher, Interrelated Special Education teacher, EIP teacher, Teacher Support Specialist, Intervention Specialist, Quality Work Facilitator, and finally, Assistant Principal.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Brenau University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Walden University, a Specialist’s Degree from Lincoln Memorial, and a degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Georgia.  Family is extremely important to me.  My husband and I have two amazing daughters and wonderful sons-in-law.  We also have two grandchildren who keep us young with another on the way!  Whether at home with my family or with my VCE school family, I strive to lead by example.
