Third Grade Teachers
School Phone: (770) 346-0040 Anna Brancheau Hello! I am thrilled to join Vickery Creek’s third grade team this year! This is my sixth year teaching in Forsyth County. My husband and I live in Cumming with our two boys who also attend Vickery Creek.
I have known that I wanted to be a teacher since I was young. I grew up in Douglas County and earned my Educational Specialist from the University of West Georgia! My passion is in teaching reading and helping students find those special books that unlock the joy of reading for them.
When I am not teaching, you can find me camping, spending time with my family, reading, or playing with my dogs! I am looking forward to meeting my group of third graders! We are going to have a great year!
180222 abrancheau@forsyth.k12.ga.us Andrea Harris Hi! My name is Andrea Harris. I have been working in the field of education for over 30 years, and I hold a master’s degree from Oglethorpe University. I believe that it is an amazing privilege to be entrusted with the responsibility of working with children. My students have taught me that being a good teacher is so much more than just covering curriculum. I realize that sometimes the smallest things I say and do have the biggest impact. I strive to help keep students’ natural curiosity alive by showing them that learning is both rewarding and fun.
I live in Cumming with my husband of 30 years, our daughter, who recently graduated from the University of Georgia, and our two puppy dogs. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and doing anything outdoors.
I am happy to start a new school year, and I look forward to the excitement ahead!
