School Phone: (770) 346-0040 Renee Crouse My name is Renee Crouse and this is my 9th year at VCE. I’m thrilled to be teaching 4th grade! I received my bachelors in education from Auburn University and my masters from Lesley University. This is my 18th year teaching and I have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten and 5th grade before 4th. I live locally with my husband, our two children, and our two dogs. I love football, Fall weather, games and puzzles. I have been teaching for 8 years and have taught 3rd and 4th grade. Teaching is a 2nd career for me, I was previously in the accounting field for over 14 years. I received my degree in Early Childhood Education with a Reading endorsement from Kennesaw State University. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and moved to Georgia in 2002. My husband, son (Cameron-12), and I live in Cumming with our 2 dogs. During my free time, I enjoy watching my son play baseball, basketball, or football, and spending time with our family and pups. Looking forward to a fun and exciting year at VCE!

I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a dual degree in Early Childhood/Special Education with a Reading endorsement. I have been at VCE since 2020 and I might be biased, but we have the best school, ever. I am looking forward to a great school year! 180214 mgorman@forsyth.k12.ga.us Jeanette Johnston My name is Jeanette Johnston and I am in my 3rd year of teaching 4th grade here at Vickery Creek Elementary School. I was born and raised in Ohio where I began my teaching career. My family and I moved here to Georgia 13 years ago. I have been teaching in Forsyth County since moving here. I worked for 1 ½ at Big Creek Elementary as a Horizons Teacher. I then worked at Brookwood Elementary School for 10 years where I taught both 4th grade and 5th grade. My older daughter is starting her first year at Georgia College and my younger daughter is going into 2nd grade here at Vickery. My name is Emily Konrad and I am so excited to be officially joining the VCE team this year. I recently graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelors in Elementary and Special Education along with a reading endorsement. I have grown up in Forsyth County and am so happy to be able to teach here at Vickery. I have two kittens, Cookie and Peanut, who are my "babies." My name is Laura Mattox. I am so excited to be returning to Vickery Creek Elementary! I was previously at VCE from 1997-2003 as a first grade teacher. I am thrilled to be back "home" as I continue my teaching career.
This is my 16th year in education. I hold a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from kennesaw State University. As a math specialist, I have taught grades K-5. As a general education teacher, I have taught first, second, fourth, and fifth grades.
I have two daughters. Henley is 17 and a rising senior at Cambridge High School. Harper is 15 and a rising sophomore at Cambridge High School. We live in Milton with our seven pets (3 cats, 3 dogs, and 1 bunny)!

Abbey Riggins Hi there! My name is Abbey Riggins and I am so excited to be joining the Vickery Creek family! I recently graduated from Georgia College and State University with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Forsyth county, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to come back home and teach at Vickery! When I am not in the classroom, you will find me hiking, reading, or spending time with family and friends! I grew up in Georgia and Washington, and I’m a huge OSU fan…go Bucks!!! I graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and also have my Master’s Degree and Gifted Endorsement. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my son, Ryan, who is in 8th grade and my daughter, Ansley, who is in 7th grade.
