     Hi there!  My name is Gabriella Bailey and this will be my second year at Vickery Creek Elementary. I moved to Georgia from Orlando, Florida. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. When I'm not at school, I enjoy making memories with my family and friends. I also absolutely love spending time with my husband and all of our animals. We currently have dogs, goats, chickens, turkeys, and a goose. They keep us pretty busy! I'm so excited for a wonderful year in 5th grade!!

    Lynn Boatman
    Hi! My name is Lynn Boatman and this is my 15th year teaching at VCE! I grew up in Roswell, GA. I graduated from UGA with a BS is Spanish and later received my MAED from University of Phoenix, AZ. I have two children, a daughter, Kayla who is an SLP at Esther Jackson Elementary and a son, Parker in the ARMY. I have three adorable dogs which keep me busy at home. I spend most of my free time walking on the Greenway or enjoying Lake Lanier.  I love eating out and trying new foods, visiting with my family and friends, and finding new places to hike and explore. I have enjoyed growing and learning at VCE and look forward to the new school year.

    I have been in education for 28 years. I have taught all grade levels K-5. I have had the pleasure of teaching at VCE for 17 years. I attended Georgia Southern University and have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am married with three daughters, ages 24, 22, and 17 years. I love to laugh and have fun with friends and family. Some may say I love to talk which is very true as well as telling stories. School and being a teacher is my hobby, my passion, my life.

    Kim Clewell

     

    Hi my name is Kim Clewell.  This will be my eleventh year teaching at Vickery Creek Elementary School.  I got my Bachelor degree from SUNY Brockport, a masters from SUNY Albany and just completed my Specialist degree last year from Piedmont College.  My husband and I will be celebrating our 27th anniversary this year. We have three children. Courtney is my oldest who will be a junior at UGA, Nathanael will be a graduated from West and is currently doing his basic training at Fort Benning for the Army National Guard.  He will be attending Georgia Military College in the spring and Ethan will be a eighth grader at Vickery Creek Middle School. I have  a seven year old golden retriever who is like my fourth child. On my free time I love to hike, exercise and spend time with my family.

     My name is Angie Ellenburg.  I live with my husband, Brad, and our three boys, Lucas,22,  Marc, 20, both at UGA  and Trey, 12, who will attend VCMS this year.  We have two labs, Scout and Miller. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family at the lake. This will be my 21st year teaching(15 years in Forsyth County and 6 years in Gwinnett County.)   I have taught fourth and fifth grade and I am gifted certified. Fifth grade is my favorite group to teach and I cannot wait for an amazing year!

    Hi! My name is Ms. Franklin and I am so excited to be teaching 5th Grade at VCE.

    I have been teaching elementary school for 17 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th Grade. I previously taught in Palm Beach County, Florida as well as Dekalb and Gwinnett County, and this is my fifth year at VCE!

    I grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida and attended the University of Central Florida. I graduated in 1996 with a BS in Communicative Disorders. In 1999, I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters in Elementary Education. Since then I have enjoyed growing and learning more with my students and school community every year! I have two sons Lucas -9 (5th Grade) and Cameron -8 (3rd Grade).   We love going to the beach, playing/watching football, vacations, and spending time with family and friends! I also love photography, cooking, and reading! I am looking forward to a fantastic year at VCE!

    Hi! My name is Emily Greeson. I am very excited to be back at Vickery Creek as a 5th grade teacher. I was a teacher at VCE 5 years before I took a year off to stay home with my two little girls. I have taught one year in third grade, two years in 4th grade, and this will be my 3rd year in 5th grade. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of North Georgia in Early Childhood/Special Education. 

     
    I have been married to my husband, Dillan for 6 years and we have two beautiful little girls, Henley (3) and Lou (2). We also have a Labrador Retriever and his name is Maverick. In our spare time, I love watching football (GO DAWGS), baseball, fishing, and taking my girls on fun adventures.

    Heather Kent

     Greetings Vikings! I am so excited to begin another school year teaching 5th grade at Vickery Creek Elementary.  I have experience teaching all grades from Pre-K through 6th grade, but fifth graders are my absolute favorite! I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Brockport (1998) and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from D’Youville College (2000) in Buffalo, NY.  I am happily married to my college sweetheart and we have two fantastic daughters - Lily, 17, and Ayla, 15. Lily will begin her studies in International Business this Fall at GSU Honor's College.  Ayla will return to Milton High School as a sophomore. We also have 3 adorable fur babies- two sweet little rescue dogs, Max and Ruby, and Alex, our cat. I love the beach, reading, dancing, cooking and traveling to new places. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!

    Dana Pratt

     Hello sweet 5th grade Leaders! My name is Dana Pratt and I teach Reading and Social Studies in 5th grade. This is my 7th year teaching here at Vickery Creek Elementary and I am very thankful to be a part of this amazing community. My husband and I have a 16 month old and her name is Avonlea. Her name comes from one of my favorite book series “Anne of Green Gables ”. In my spare time I love to play soccer, shop, and spend time with my family. When I am not teaching, I am typically at home relaxing with my family, playing with my Blue Heeler, Utley-Kate, or traveling. I graduated from Gordon State College in 2015. I received a soccer scholarship and played Defense and Goal Keeper for the Lady Highlanders. I also earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. I also hold an endorsement in Gifted Education. I am really excited to meet all of my 5th grade Vikings. We are going to have a fabulous school year!

     My name is Mrs. Szatkowski (zat-kow-ski) the ‘S’ is silent, therefore, the students call me Mrs. Z for short.  This is my 10th year at Vickery Creek, and I am excited to teach 5th grade math and science this year. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Cal State.  I am married to my high school sweetheart and best friend, Paul. We have three grown children, two daughters-in-law, two beautiful grandchildren, and a dog and cat to round out our family. I enjoy time with family and friends, volunteering at my church, traveling, reading, and spending time at the lake.  I look forward to working with my students to encourage and inspire them to question, discover, and have a love for learning.
