    Lynn Boatman
     Hi! My name is Lynn Boatman and this is my 13th year teaching at VCE! I grew up in Roswell, GA and went to Esther Jackson Elementary school and Crestwood Highschool. I graduated from UGA with a BS is Spanish and later received my MAED from University of Phoenix, AZ. I have two children, a daughter who attends GSU studying speech language pathology and a son who is enlisted in the ARMY as a Calvary Scout. I have three adorable dogs and a cat which keep my busy at home. I spend most of my free time training for ½ marathons, spending time on the Greenway, eating out trying new foods,  and visiting with my family and friends. I have enjoyed growing and learning at VCE and look forward to the new school year.

    Coughlin   Susan Coughlin
     This is my twenty-seventh-year teaching.  I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. I attended Georgia Southern University and have a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I am married with three daughters, ages 22, 20 and 15 years. I love to laugh and have fun with friends and family. Some may say I love to talk which is very true as well as telling stories. School and being a teacher is my hobby, my passion, my life.

    Kim Clewell
     Hi my name is Kim Clewell.  This will be my tenth year teaching at Vickery Creek Elementary School.  I got my Bachelor degree from SUNY Brockport, a masters from SUNY Albany and just completed my Specialist degree last year from Piedmont College.  My husband and I will be celebrating our 26th anniversary this year. We have three children. Courtney is my oldest who will be a sophomore at Georgia College, Nathanael will be a senior at West and Ethan will be a seventh grader at Vickery Creek Middle School. I have  a six year old golden retriever who is like my fourth child. On my free time I love to hike, exercise and spend time with my family.

    My name is Charity Daniel and this is my 15th year at Vickery Creek and my third year teaching fifth grade. I received my bachelors in education from the University of North Georgia, my master degree from Georgia Southern, and my specialist degree from Piedmont College. My husband and I live in Forsyth County with our three children: Mason, Emerson, and Keegan. I am excited for another fabulous year in fifth grade!

     My name is Angie Ellenburg.  I live with my husband, Brad, and our three boys, Lucas,22,  Marc, 20, both at UGA  and Trey, 12, who will attend VCMS this year.  We have two labs, Scout and Miller. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family at the lake. This will be my 21st year teaching(15 years in Forsyth County and 6 years in Gwinnett County.)   I have taught fourth and fifth grade and I am gifted certified. Fifth grade is my favorite group to teach and I cannot wait for an amazing year!

    Berkeley Fain
    Hi! My name is Berkley Fain and although this is my first year at VCES, this is my fifteenth year teaching.  I have spent ten of those years in fifth grade because I absolutely love working with this age group.  Prior to teaching, I attended the University of Virginia and am a huge fan of the Cavaliers.  I have also earned a masters degree and a specialist degree from Piedmont College and have obtained my gifted endorsement.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Lee, for twelve years, and we have one son, Drew, who will be in fifth grade this year.  I love spending time and making memories with family and friends.  Attending Drew's sporting events, traveling, reading, and shopping are just some of the hobbies I enjoy.  I am excited about the school year to come.

    Heather Kent
     Greetings Vikings! I am so excited to begin another school year teaching 5th grade at Vickery Creek Elementary.  I have experience teaching all grades from Pre-K through 6th grade, but fifth graders are my absolute favorite! I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Brockport (1998) and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from D’Youville College (2000) in Buffalo, NY.  I am happily married to my college sweetheart and we have two fantastic daughters - Lily, 15, and Ayla, 13. We also have 3 adorable fur babies- two sweet little rescue dogs, Max and Ruby, and Alex, our cat. I love the beach, reading, dancing, cooking and traveling to new places. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!

    Gabby Milazzo
     Hi there!  My name is Gabriella Milazzo and this will be my first year at Vickery Creek Elementary. I just moved to Georgia from Orlando, Florida. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. I have taught third grade for the past three years, but I'm super excited to be in 5th grade this year. When I'm not at school, I enjoy making memories with my family and friends. I also absolutely love spending time with all my pets(2 dogs and 5 goats). I'm so excited for a wonderful year in 5th grade!!

     szatkowski  LaDonna Szatkowski
     My name is Mrs. Szatkowski (zat-kow-ski) the ‘S’ is silent, therefore, the students call me Mrs. Z for short.  This is my 7th year at Vickery Creek, and I am excited to teach 5th grade math and science this year. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Cal State.  I am married to my high school sweetheart and best friend, Paul. We have three grown children, two daughter-in-laws, two beautiful grandchildren, and a dog and cat to round out our family. I enjoy time with family and friends, volunteering at my church, traveling, reading, and spending time at the lake.  I look forward to working with my students to encourage and inspire them to question, discover, and have a love for learning.
