Brian Brown
My name is Brian Brown, and I am happy to be rejoining the VCE staff next year. In November of 2022, my wife and I welcomed our first kiddo, little Lucy, into the family. She's changed us in ways we could have never imagined and further solidified my belief in having a capable educational system. I feel privileged each and every day that communities entrust us to help prepare their kids for the rigors of the future. I take the job very seriously and look forward to serving the Vickery Creek area for years to come.

Angie Ellenburg
This is my 25th year of teaching and my 19th at VCE. My husband Brad and I just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary! We are the proud parents of three boys. Lucas is a special education teacher in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Marc works for Keystone Millworks in Inlet Beach, Florida, and Trey is a sophomore at West and plays golf. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, walking my dogs, watching sports, and spending time with my family at the lake. I have taught fourth and fifth grade and I am gifted certified. Fifth grade is my favorite group to teach, and I cannot wait for a wonderful year with an amazing fifth grade team!

Shannon Gasaway
Hello! My name is Shannon Gasaway. I feel so fortunate to be a member of the 5th grade team at VCE. I’m an experienced upper elementary teacher, having taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in Georgia the past thirty years. I am as passionate today about the teaching profession as I was when I first began! When I graduated from Agnes Scott College in 1989, I had no plans to be a teacher. Instead, I earned my Series 7 license and worked for a mutual fund company. Along the way, I decided to change careers and I’ve never looked back! I enjoy spending time with my husband Dan and our beagle-lab mix, Little Joe. I love traveling and outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, snorkeling, and rafting. Playing cards or board games with family and friends is also at the top of the list. I’m looking forward to a fabulous school year at VCE!
