Amy Waller
Educational Technology Coach & Leader in Me Lighthouse Coordinator
My name is Amy Waller, and I am absolutely thrilled to be entering my 6th year here at VCE! It truly is a blessing to be a part of the VCE family! After teaching with our special education department for the past 5 years, I am beyond excited to be moving into the role of Educational Technology Coach (ETC). I am also the Leader in Me Lighthouse Coordinator for VCE. I am looking forward to supporting our teachers, students, and community through this role.
I am a Florida native and have been teaching for 13 years. I have a degree in Child Development from Florida State University, although I am a die-hard Gator fan! In 2021, I went back to school and earned my Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University and graduated in 2022.
My husband Scott and I have been married for 14 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Emily, who is 13 and in 8th grade right next door at Vickery Middle, and Reese, who is 10 and in 5th grade right here at VCE. To sharpen my saw in my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching football (GO GATORS!!) and Braves baseball, crafts, and online shopping. I am looking forward to another great year at VCE!
