I am entering my 24th year in education and my 18th year as part of the Forsyth County School system. Originally from Annapolis, MD, I settled with my family in Cumming after spending thirteen years in Weddington, NC. I began my teaching career in a transitional Kindergarten classroom before claiming first grade as my instructional home for several years. After moving from NC to GA in 2006, I began teaching at Silver City Elementary. While at SCES, I taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Writing Specials. In my final year at SCES, I took on the role of Literacy Coach. After earning my Ed.S., I accepted a position as Assistant Principal at Piney Grove Middle School and supported students and staff at PGMS for five years. Following my time at PGMS, I returned to my elementary roots as Assistant Principal for Whitlow Elementary. In the summer of 2022, I had the privilege of joining the Cumming Elementary family. The past two years have been filled with wonderful moments in the Central Cluster.  In January, my professional dream was realized. I am humbled and honored to be the 5th Principal of Chattahoochee Elementary. The Champion family has graciously welcomed me and shared much of its treasured history. I look forward to continuing the amazing work at Chattahoochee and I'm proud to be a Champion!

I am looking forward to another great school year at Chattahoochee! I have been in education for 27 years and this is my 20th year in Forsyth County. I have served as a classroom teacher, school counselor, instructional coach, and administrator. My husband and I have 3 sons, and we love spending time together, especially on the lake. I love partnering with our Chattahoochee families, and I am proud to be a Champion!
