  •  Meet Mrs. Ogilvy

My name is Anne Ogilvy and I am the counselor for Kindergarten, First & Second grades. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & a Master of Science in School Counseling. This will be my 20th year as a School Counselor and my 14th year at Vickery Creek Elementary. My goal is to support our students socially, emotionally and academically, by teaching them lifelong skills to help them navigate throughout their world.  This is done through classroom guidance lessons and collaboration with students, teachers & parents. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to great school year!

     Meet Mrs. Remenick

My name is Julie Remenick and I am the School Counselor for students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I received my Master’s degree in Social Work and my Specialist degree in School Counseling/Education from the University of Georgia.  Go Dawgs!! I have worked in Student Support Services in Forsyth County at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for 19 years.  This will be my 4th year at Vickery Creek Elementary and I love it! It is a joy to be able to support and to collaborate with our students, teachers, and parents.  I look forward to seeing all students in Guidance lessons and helping them find success both academically and socially/emotionally. If I can ever be of assistance to you or your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

     Meet Mrs. Hawkins

I am very excited about this school year. I currently live in Canton with my husband and 2 children who are 10 and 8 years old.  I also have an identical Twin sister that also lives in the area. Naturally, many people get us confused with each other. My favorite things to do are hanging out at the lake, going to the movies, and spending time with my family and friends. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia College & State University in 2005. In 2013, I earned my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Reinhardt University. This will be my 7th year at VCE. I love being a part of the VCE family, and I am so excited about this school year!
