The Clinic is open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, in order to provide minor care to students in need. Ideally, the School Nurse's goal is to help make the student who visits the Clinic more comfortable so that they can return to class.

In the event the Clinic needs to reach you during the school day, please make sure that all contact phone numbers are updated in Parent Portal (under Demographics).  Consider adding the school's telephone number to your phone's Contact List so that "North Forsyth Middle School" will show up on your caller ID.

Please inform us of any medical condition that could affect your child while at school.  There are care plans for specific conditions located in the "Health Forms" section of this web page.  Any others can be addressed by email.

The Clinic does not stock medications.  All medications (over-the-counter and prescription) for student use must be brought to school by a parent or guardian in the original container. If submitted for "as needed" use, these must be picked up before the last day of the school year.  No "once daily" or "twice daily" medications are given at school unless directed by a physician in writing.  Please see Forsyth County's "Request for Administration of Medications" in the "Health Forms" section of this web page.

Please parents, encourage your student to
    • eat nutritious foods
    • exercise daily
    • get a good night's sleep
    • practice GOOD hand washing
These simple things will help to ensure your student has an optimal learning experience.

    Thank you,
    Nurse Ginger
