    hoke Amber Hoke
     Science

Originally from southern California, I moved to north Georgia from Virginia in 2000. I have taught everything from pre-K through sixth grade over the past 30+ years, and now have my dream job as the Science specialist and Gifted Coordinator at Chattahoochee. I am married and have 2 grown children. I enjoy learning new things, cooking, travelling, spending time with my family, and cheering for the Virginia Tech Hokies! I have spent several summers at Jekyll Island and love supporting the Sea Turtle Center there. I believe science should be experienced not just read about, and Albert Einstein said it best, “Play is the highest form of research”. The best part of my job is seeing students discover something for the first time!

     spera Jeff Spera  Physical Education
Ever go diving on a wreck called the Mercedes off of Fort Lauderdale? How about feeding sharks and stingrays with the Aqua Zoo? I did. I am Coach Spera. I teach Physical Education at Chattahoochee Elementary-Go Champs! I was a scuba instructor in Florida and became a full time teacher in 1994. I spent my first half in Miami Dade County Public School, and the second half with Forsyth County Schools. Since there is no ocean nearby, my family and I love to go out on the lake. My wife, Vicky, teaches at Lakeside Middle School. I have two beautiful children – Ian and Kelly. They attend South Forsyth High School.
