It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I serve as Principal at Otwell Middle School. Otwell is rich in tradition and has a long history of excellence in academic and social-emotional learning for all students.  Our mission is to foster and celebrate a collaborative learning community through positive relationships and authentic learning.  We are committed to building strong community engagement and will strive to make our families feel seen, heard, valued, and connected. 

I have 21 years of experience in education and have served as a middle school teacher, high school teacher, middle school administrator, and high school administrator.  I have a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University, a Master's Degree from The University of Georgia, and a Specialist Degree from Columbus State University.  I look forward to working alongside you. 

After teaching high school English for 19 years and working as an Assistant Administrator for three years, I am excited to make this transition to Assistant Principal at Otwell Middle School! Although I taught in NY for 12 years (my native state), the rest of my career was spent at Forsyth Central High School . I am proud to claim the Heart of Forsyth as my professional home and look forward to continuing to serve in this exceptional cluster. 

I am overjoyed to be an Otwell Bulldog!!! I have been blown away to learn about the rich history and tradition of Otwell Middle School and am excited to be a part of that for the coming years. I am excited to work with and build relationships within the Otwell community. 

I have 20 years of experience in education and have served as a middle and high school paraprofessional, high school teacher, school based administrator, and district administrator. I have two degrees from the University of North Georgia. This will be my second year at Otwell and I couldn’t be more excited. I am honored and excited to join the Bulldog family as the Assistant Administrator this year. The rich history and commitment to building lifelong learners is what makes Otwell Middle School so unique, and I am privileged to be a part of this journey.

With 13 years of experience in education, I have served as a middle school ELA teacher, department chair, and MTSS coordinator. I have also had the pleasure of teaching in Canada, England, and India. My Bachelor's degree is from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, and I earned my Master's in Leadership from Kennesaw University.
