It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I serve as Principal at Otwell Middle School. Otwell is rich in tradition and has a long history of excellence in academic and social-emotional learning for all students.  Our mission is to foster and celebrate a collaborative learning community through positive relationships and authentic learning.  We are committed to building strong community engagement and will strive to make our families feel seen, heard, valued, and connected. 

I have 19 years of experience in education and have served as a middle school teacher, high school teacher, middle school administrator, and high school administrator.  I have a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University, a Master's Degree from The University of Georgia, and a Specialist Degree from Columbus State University.  I look forward to working alongside you. 

I am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Otwell Middle School! I began my teaching career in Forsyth County over 20 years ago, and I have served in several of our district’s elementary and middle schools as both a teacher and an Assistant Principal. What a joy and honor it is to serve the students, teachers, and parents in our Otwell community. I will be working closely with our 7th grade students this year. I am so excited to be an Otwell Bulldog! This is my second year at Otwell, but I have been in this community for many years as a teacher at Cumming Elementary. This is such a special place to be. I am a lifelong learner and have earned degrees from Georgia Southern University, University of North Georgia, and Piedmont College.
