Hello, my name is Nicole Thomas and I’m excited to be joining Riverwatch as the 6th grade counselor! Prior to RMS I was a high school Athletic Trainer for 8 years. I have a B.S. in athletic training from University of Georgia (Go DAWGS
) and an M.Ed in school counseling from Liberty University. When I’m not at school I love hiking, watching sports, and spending time with friends, my son, and my husband. If there’s anything I can do to support your child in their transition to middle school, please reach out at any time!
Hello Panther families! My name is Natalie Guetarni, and I am the 7th grade counselor at Riverwatch Middle School. I am so happy to join this amazing family and look forward to all the amazing adventures yet to come. I have currently been in education for 22 years bringing with me experience in teaching and counseling. When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, Rob, my children, Gabbi (12) and Kaden (10), and my dogs, Bruno and Bailey. As a family, we love to take outdoor trips and have movie nights! Please know that I am available if you ever need me, and I look forward to meeting and building a relationship with you all.
This begins my 27th year as a school counselor, but it is my first year at Riverwatch! I have worked at the elementary, middle and high school levels in Forsyth County and in New York. My husband and I moved to Georgia in 1999 and we raised 3 wonderful children into adulthood here! My favorite place to work is middle school and I am blessed to have found a home at Riverwatch. The eighth-grade students are amazing, and our Riverwatch Community is the best!

I am so excited to join the RMS staff this year! While I’m not a native of Georgia, I am a high school graduate from Forsyth County Schools, and I have a BFA from Kennesaw State University with a minor in Business Management. I come from a performance background and have spent my early career with the company, Walt Disney World. When I’m not at school I enjoy teaching ballet, relaxing at home, and spending time with my puppy, Pippin. I’m ecstatic that I get to work in an environment where I can use my skills and help the younger generation evolve into young adults!
