WELCOME TO COUNSELING!The RMS Counseling department believes firmly in the ASCA National Model. The counselors have a responsibility to the students across 3 domains: academic, personal/social, and career. We meet the needs of our students through individual counseling, classroom guidance, small group counseling, and parent/teacher conferences. The mission of Riverwatch Middle School’s Counseling Program is to provide all students with a comprehensive developmental school counseling program centered around a supportive environment that educates and encourages children to L.E.A.D- Learn, Exceed, Achieve, and Dream. The Counseling Department recognizes and respects the unique qualities of each student and enhances student growth in the areas of academic, career, and personal/social development through collaboration with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders. The School Counselors will help ensure that all students become life-long learners, problem solvers, and dependable leaders within the community.
