Connie McCrary, Principal Mrs. Connie McCrary is in her sixteenth year as principal at Little Mill Middle School. She served as principal at Vickery Creek Middle for four years and as assistant principal at Vickery Creek Middle and North Forsyth Middle for five years prior to her current placement. Before becoming an administrator, she taught fifth and sixth grades with the Cobb County Schools.
Mrs. McCrary earned her B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Georgia. She holds middle grades certification in language arts and social studies from Kennesaw State University. She earned her Master’s in Administration and Supervision from the State University of West Georgia. She also earned her Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Greg, and their two daughters, Delaney and Beth Anne, reside in Cumming.342511 cmccrary@forsyth.k12.ga.us Mitch Lesinski, Assistant Principal Mr. Mitchell Lesinski has been an assistant principal at Little Mill Middle School since the 2018-2019 school year. He began his education career in Michigan back in 1999 as a substitute teacher and then moved on to teach middle school language arts until 2008 when he relocated to Georgia. Mr. Lesinski spent 10 years at Piney Grove Middle School (Forsyth County) serving as a 6th and 7th grade ELA teacher, athletic director, academic coach, and assistant administrator.
Mr. Lesinski earned his B.S. in English Education from Ferris State University, a Master’s in Education from the University of Michigan - Dearborn, and an Ed. S. in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. Mr. Lesinski also served in the U.S. Army for 11 years as an Infantryman on both active duty and national guard status where he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. He and his wife, Joanna, and their three children (Noah, Jenna, and Samuel) have resided in Cumming since 2008.
342507 mlesinski@forsyth.k12.ga.us Aimee Brooks, Assistant Principal Mrs. Aimee Brooks is in her 22nd year in education and is excited to be joining the Little Mill Middle School administrative team. Mrs. Brooks moved to Little Mill in 2015 and served for three years as an 8th grade math teacher. In 2018, she taught 6th grade science. In 2019, Mrs. Brooks became the Graduation Coach and served in that position for three years.
Mrs. Brooks earned her Bachelors of Science in middle grades math and science from the University of North Georgia, her Master’s Degree in middle grades math education from Piedmont College, and her Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College as well. Additionally, she earned certification in Educational Leadership from Piedmont College, and she is endorsed as an Instructional Coach.
In her free time, Mrs. Brooks enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Brooks and her husband Mike have two daughters (Emily and Kaitlyn), two dogs (Cairo and Minnie), and one cat (Marshmallow).
342509 abrooks@forsyth.k12.ga.us Kelli Wilson, Assistant Administrator Ms. Kelli Wilson is in her 30th year in education. She taught elementary and high school in her home state of Florida before moving to Forsyth County 13 years ago. Six years ago, she joined Little Mill Middle School as the Graduation Coach after teaching Spanish at South Forsyth Middle School. This year, she is excited to continue in the role of Assistant Administrator.
Ms. Wilson earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. She also earned her Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University and obtained her leadership certification through Valdosta State University. She has two sons; the oldest graduated from the University of North Georgia and her youngest from the University of Georgia.
