Hello, my name is Jennifer Yoo, and I am the 8^th grade counselor at South Forsyth Middle School. It's so lovely to meet you. The 2024-25 school year marks my seventh year as a school counselor. I earned my undergraduate degree and master's degree from the University of Georgia. And I recently finished my Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from Valdosta State University. In my free time, I love listening to music, watching Netflix, hiking, and traveling. I'm looking forward to an awesome school year together!

I am beyond excited to be returning for my 3rd year as  the 7^th Grade School Counselor at South Forsyth Middle!  I have been a counselor in Forsyth County Schools since 2014 when my husband Chris, my son Noah, and my daughter Olivia relocated here.I consider myself to be a Chicago girl who loves Portillo’s, stuffed pizza, and going to the theater. I earned my undergraduate degree from University of Iowa and my Masters in School Counseling from Concordia University Chicago. My name is Lara Bramel, and I’m the 6th-grade counselor! This is my fourth year as a school counselor, and I am so excited for another year at South Middle! I have a B.S. in Special Education (Adapted Curriculum) from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) as well as a Master's degree in School Counseling from Georgia State University. I am currently pursuing my Educational Specialist in Professional Counseling at the University of West Georgia. When I’m not at school, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my friends and family. I’m passionate about providing a safe space where students know they belong and helping students develop the social/emotional skills they need to thrive in middle school and beyond.
