Kim Autry PE
I have been the PE teacher at Johns Creek since it opened in 2007. I have been teaching PE for 29 years. This is my passion and we have such a great time in the gym. I have a daughter that will be a Sophomore at Lambert. I'm looking forward to another exciting year here at JCE!

I am so excited to be back teaching art at Johns Creek Elementary.
I am a graduate from Kennesaw State University where I received a BS degree in Art Education. I have 15 years of art teaching experience, which includes 10 years in HS (Etowah & Woodstock HS) and 4 years on the elementary level (Vickery Creek and Big Creek Elementary). Most recently I was an instructional assistant in a Special Needs classroom at Haw Creek Elementary.
I currently reside in Cumming with my husband and 3 sons. When not teaching, I will be watching my boys play sports!

Mrs. Yellott holds a Masters of Teaching Degree from Brenau University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Adminstration and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from the University of Georgia. She has endorsements in gifted, ELL, and special education. She taught fifth grade for 6 years and is beginning her third year as the Synergy Studio coordinator. Prior to Forsyth County, she taught in Gwinnett County. This will be her eighth year here at Johns Creek.
Amanda Edmiston My name is Amanda Edmiston. This will be my fourth year teaching, my second here at JCE. I am a graduate of Auburn University of Montgomery where I studied Colloborative Education. Through this program, I received accreditations in General Education and Special Education. I am married and the proud mother of two beautiful daughters-Ansley and Ella. Being the mother of two, I know the importance of parent/teacher communication and welcome questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding your child's social, emotional, or academic needs at school. Sarah PerroyMy name is Sarah Perroy and I am excited to be a part of the Jaguar family at Johns Creek Elementary! I will be teaching English Speakers of Other Languages and Early Intervention Program. My husband and I moved to Georgia in 2015 from the Northern Virginia area. Since then we have been blessed with our son, Riker. In our spare time we love to be outdoors exploring all the metro Atlanta area has to offer.I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and after teaching for a few years, I decided to return to school again to earn my Reading Specialist degree. I have been a classroom teacher, ESOL teacher, and Instructional Coach. I have worked within the county over the past 7 years as a special education paraprofessional and also as a substitute teacher while finishing my degree. My name is Lisa Ranta, and I am one of the Instructional Assistants in a Skills Based Autism class. I have my bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and my Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I taught ESOL in another Georgia school system for almost five years before having my first child. After staying home to raise my three children (Sam, Charlie and Alissa) for ten years, I returned to teaching and have been at Johns Creek for two years. I love working with the sweet children at JCES!
I am so excited to be part the John’s Creek team! I’m originally from NJ, which is where I went to college and earned a BA in English Literature and a Master’s Degree in Teaching. I was introduced to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 1996, when I became a teacher at The Alpine Learning Group which provides ABA instruction. From there, I moved into the public school system where I taught in a self-contained classroom for children with Autism and other disabilities. Since I have been in Georgia, I have taught at a small private school for special needs and now here at John’s Creek.
I live in Alpharetta with my husband, my son and our wonderful dog Bentley!

I am so excited to be part of the jaguar family! I bring to JCE 12 years of teaching experience in Henry County Schools, where I also served as a varsity soccer coach. I have a B.S. degree in Psychology, and a Master of Social Work degree from Georgia State University. My teaching certificate was earned at the University of Georgia, Graduate School of Education. Currently I am a student at Piedmont College, working towards a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am an extremely proud mother of four children, all of whom are college graduates. My 2 daughters and 2 sons attended Emory University (2), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Clayton State University. In my spare time I play on an amateur women’s soccer team in Atlanta, and I am attempting to master the sport of tennis. I look forward to many years of facilitating academic growth in the community of learners at JCE.
Tricia Reichling Early Intervention
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, this will be my 14th year teaching the Early Intervention Program in Forsyth County. I love working with small groups of children and have been at Johns Creek Elementary since the day it opened.
I was born and raised in Atlanta but spent my first 5 elementary years living in Hong Kong. During that time I attended an International School and was also able to travel to over 21 different countries. My husband and I have been married for 32 years. We have three children who went to Forsyth County Schools and then attended Georgia Tech. Let’s just say that I am a very quiet Georgia fan!
