I am thrilled and honored to serve as the principal of Lambert High School! As a parent of two Lambert students and a longtime community member, it is such a joy and privilege to come home to our community and lead Longhorn Nation. I began my career in Forsyth County in 2002. Throughout my tenure, I have served as an ELA classroom teacher, Media Specialist, ITS, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal at middle & high school levels, and as the Principal of Liberty Middle School. I hold a bachelor's degree from Berry College, a master's degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and an Ed Specialist's degree from Nova Southeastern University. It is a true blessing to bring my knowledge, experience, and passion to Lambert as its Lead Learner. Horns up! Hook 'em!

I am so excited to be joining the Longhorn family! I began my teaching career 11 years ago at Riverwatch Middle School where I taught Language Arts and served as an Instructional Coach and Student Support Coordinator. For the past 2 ½ years I have served as Liberty Middle School's Instructional Coach. I graduated from Georgia College (Go Bobcats!) with a degree in Middle Grades Education. From there I moved to Athens and worked on my Master's degree in Middle Grades Education from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). I also have a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I absolutely love the teaching and learning process and finding ways for learning to come alive in the classroom! When I'm not at school, my husband, Davis, and I are raising our two children- Collins (7) and Greer (5). I cannot wait for my journey to come full circle and continue to serve the community who welcomed me into Forsyth County Schools! Hook 'em!

I am very excited to begin my 8th year as an administrator at Lambert High School. This year marks my 25th year in education. Previously, I have served as a science and physical education teacher at various schools throughout Dekalb and Douglas County. Over the course of my career, I have taught grades 6th-12th at the middle and high school level, including teaching in a variety of different educational settings. I earned my B.S. in Education from Mercer University and received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University.
I am a proud father of five wonderful children, two of which are former Lambert graduates, and are now students at the University of Georgia. Entering this year, I also have two daughters who are students here at Lambert High School. And not to be outdone, my wonderful wife Emily is also an educator here in Forsyth County.
As a former teacher, coach, and now administrator, I can say without reservations, that we are all very blessed to live, work, and play in a community that puts students and families first. If we may ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. GO HORNS!
