Department Overview:The purpose of Lambert's Career Academy is to provide our students with a variety of first-hand experiences in highly technical and marketable career fields. Through real-world project-based instruction, students will build valuable life and industry specific skills that will set them above their competition during post-secondary education and in the competitive market place.
Lambert's Career and Technical Education department consists of course offerings in the fields of Business, Marketing, Video-Broadcasting, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Nutrition, Culinary, Teaching, and Engineering. Regardless of a student's program concentration, all Career Academy students can expect to be engaged through hands-on projects that coincide with the industry expectations, exposure to guest speakers and other business professionals, job-shadowing and behind-the-scene field trips.
All of our CTE programs offer students the opportunity to be involved with competitive co-curricular student organizations (DECA, FBLA, TSA, SkillsUSA, HOSA, FCCLA, or Robotics), earn scholarships, work with local businesses and earn the right to become members of the National Technical Honor Society.
