My name is Tania Carullo, and this will be my 17th year teaching overall. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in Elementary Education and obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Technology shortly after. I have three children. Katelyn is a 5th grader at Brookwood, Connor is a 7th grader at SFMS, and Michael is a Sophomore at Lambert High School. I love to read, go to the beach, and spend time with my family in my free time. I am thrilled to be part of the Brookwood kindergarten team and look forward to another great year!

Hi! My name is Sydney Hogan, and this will be my 3rd year of teaching! I love being a part of the Kindergarten team and Bobcat family! I graduated from the University of North Georgia and received my degree in Early Childhood and Special Education with a reading endorsement. I was also born and raised in Forsyth County. I love cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with friends and family. I am looking to another amazing year filled with learning and memories!

My name is Lourdes Lucarelli, and this will be my 28th year of teaching. I graduated from Saint Vincent's College in Dipolog City, Philippines, with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. I taught in Elementary School for two years before moving to America. Once I moved, I taught the Georgia Funded Pre-K for 17 years. Following this, I moved to Brookwood, where I am entering my 9th year. During this time, I have also earned a Master's Degree in Arts of Teaching from Piedmont University. I am excited and looking forward to this school year. I hope my education, devotion, and talent will help the children reach their goals and full potential. Together We've Got This!

Mrs. McCavitt is entering her 23rd year of teaching. She graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in Education and is certified to teach the alternate curriculum in Georgia. She has taught 5th grade general education, K-5 in the Mild Intellectual Disability classroom, and is starting her 6th year as the Autism teacher at Brookwood. Mrs. McCavitt is thrilled to teach in a classroom where she can begin to teach at the level where each child is. She loves teaching and exploring replacement behaviors and finding ways for all of her students to be the best version of themselves. Her experience at Brookwood has been some of the best years in her teaching career, and she looks forward to having another amazing year with her wonderful, talented, fun, and sweet students! 

I have been teaching for 28 years. This makes year 29. I graduated with an undergraduate degree from Piedmont College and a master's degree from North Georgia College and State University. I also received my endorsements in Gifted Education and ESOL.

Hi! My name is Shelby Campbell and this is my third year being a Paraprofessional at Brookwood. I am originally from a small town in Illinois; however, I have lived in Georgia for the past 20 years. I attended University of West Georgia. I love sports and cheering for the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs! I have two children, Mackenzie who is a rising 4th grader, and Tenley who is a rising 2nd grader. I love being a part of the Brookwood family, and I am excited for another great year with lots of learning and having fun!

Mrs. Hema Mohan graduated with her Master’s Degree from the University of Chennai, India. She worked in Pre School in Raleigh, NC for 4 years. Mrs. Mohan started volunteering and was subbing for Forsyth County Schools in 2012 and was excited to accept a position as Para in 2016. This will be her eighth year as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant at Brookwood. She is looking forward to another great year working with amazing kids at Brookwood. She loves seeing them grow as they learn. She believes that her education and experience will benefit the growth of children to achieve their goals with 100% success. Go Bobcats!

Mrs. Walsh graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University. She worked as a para in Kindergarten and 5th grade for two years at Monsignor Slade Catholic School in M.D. before moving to GA in 2014. Mrs. Walsh began subbing for Forsyth County Schools in 2016 and was thrilled to accept an offer from Brookwood as a para in 2018. This will be the start of her 8th year here at Brookwood, and she is looking forward to an exciting new school year!

I'm so very excited to be part of the Kindergarten team this year.  Previously I was a Special Education Para at Brookwood for 1 ½ years, prior to that I was a Special Education Para in Gwinnett County for 12 years as well as a Kindergarten Para for 3 years. I look forward to helping the students learn, grow and have lots of fun.
