Ms. Mobley
Hi! My name is Debbie Mobley, and I am so excited to teach 1st grade at Brookwood Elementary this year! Before teaching at Brookwood, I taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade at Brandywine Elementary in Forsyth County. Before moving to Georgia in 2018 with my family from the Chicago area, I taught first grade for 15 years. My absolute favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with students and families. I hold a Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist in grades K-12 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in middle school and dance/theater from Northern Illinois University. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and spending time outdoors with my family: Violet (13), Asher (8), and my husband, Jonathan.
