Ms. Collins has been teaching for six years. She earned her Associated Degree from Young Harris College, her bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia, and her master's degree from Piedmont College. This will be her second year at Brookwood elementary, LOVES 4th grade, and she is thrilled to a bobcat!!

Ms. Fingerle

This is Miss Fingerle’s twelfth year of teaching, and she is looking forward to a wonderful year in 4th grade. She taught 5th grade at Brookwood for four years, and prior to being at Brookwood, she taught grades 2 through 6 at schools in Floyd and Gordon counties. Miss Fingerle has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Berry College with both an ESOL and a Gifted Endorsement. She also completed a two-year teacher training course on S.T.E.M. through Kennesaw State University and looks forward to implementing these interactive learning opportunities in her class this year.

Ms. Huyer

I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in Spanish and Economics in 2000. I taught in Holland, Michigan for two years and then moved to Georgia and taught five years in Fulton County.  I earned a Master's degree from Georgia State University in Educational Leadership in 2006.  After spending a few years home with my two children, I taught at Cumming Elementary for three years before becoming a Brookwood Bobcat.   I love learning and am passionate about helping my students grow into their best selves!

Mrs. Kim

Ms. Kim received a B.A. in Psychology from Fordham University in New York and worked as a Human Resources Specialist. After moving to Georgia, she decided to pursue a career in Education. She taught private Pre-K at her church before going back to school to earn her Education degree from Western Governors University. This is her third year as a 4th grade teacher at Brookwood.

Mrs. Sherman

Mrs. Sherman has been teaching for ten years in South Florida and holds an undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in Elementary Education as well as a master's degree in Educational Leadership.  She recently joined Brookwood Elementary as a paraprofessional in 2018 and will be teaching fourth grade for the 2019-2020 school year.  She is looking forward to making this the best year yet!

I graduated from the University Pittsburgh with a BA in Anthropology and received my M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from Brenau University.  I began my career teaching middle school on Hilton Head Island.  I have been teaching 4th grade at Brookwood since 2016.

Hi! I am excited to be starting my 3rd year as a Brookwood Bobcat teaching 4th grade. I previously taught K,1,2, 4 and 5 in Fulton County for 15 years before coming to Forsyth County. I have a Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University, a Master's degree from Graceland University and a Reading Endorsement. Some of my interests outside the classroom are playing tennis, reading, and going to concerts. Let's make today so awesome that yesterday gets jealous!

This will be Ms. Watts 18th year teaching. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s College in General Education and Special Education and her Master’s from Long Island University in Literacy. She is super excited to teach 4th grade at Brookwood and looks forward to an amazing year!
