This is my 2nd year as a Brookwood Bobcat and 13th year of teaching! I have taught grades K, 1, 2, and 4 over my 13 years as a teacher in Michigan, Fulton County, GA, and Forsyth County. My degrees are in Pk-5 Elementary Education with Minors in Spanish and Economics from Michigan State University, and M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Georgia State. I have a husband named Jeff and a son and daughter, ages 9 and 12. My journey started with a love of learning and exploring my curiosities. In college, I volunteered at an elementary school and discovered how rewarding working with children is. My goals for this school year are to help my students grow in self-confidence, self-discipline, and critical thinking. This world throws us curveballs, and I'm excited to help the next generation learn to play the game!
