I am very excited to be joining the fifth grade team this year. I love being a Brookwood bobcat and can't wait to begin this new adventure! I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science and Disorders in 1999. I then earned a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University in 2002. I taught Fourth grade and First grade in Marietta and Alpharetta before having my three children. I then took time off to stay home with them. I returned to the classroom in 2016 and have worked as a Kindergarten Assistant for the last six years here at Brookwood. My children are Brookwood graduates, and I am very excited to continue my teaching career with the amazing fifth grade team. I am excited to share my passion for reading and writing with my students. I can't wait to make this last year of elementary school their absolute favorite!
