Mrs. Agramonte

Mrs. Agramonte is happy to be teaching her 11th year at Brookwood Elementary. She currently teaches 5th grade math and science, and has taught 7th and 8th grade science, 4th grade general, and gifted instruction to 4th and 5th graders.
A favorite part of her day is greeting her students every morning. She works hard to help each student reach his or her potential!

2019-2020 marks the start of my fourteenth year as a teacher, and my 11th year at Brookwood Elementary. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Brenau University.  While I have taught multiple grade levels and subjects, I am looking forward to another wonderful year in 5th grade teaching math and science.

Mrs. Davis

Mrs. Davis is a Georgia native and has been teaching elementary school for 20 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia, a Master's degree in Gifted and Creative Studies from UGA, and a Specialist's degree from Piedmont College in Curriculum and Instruction. This is her fifth year at Brookwood, where she strives daily to challenge and inspire her students and instill a love of learning.

Mr. Leo is beginning his 20th year of teaching. He has four college degrees, including his master degree in education from Duquesne University and his specialist degree in leadership from Lincoln Memorial. He moved to Georgia from Pittsburgh in 2002 and has taught in both Gwinnett and Forsyth County school systems. This will be his 6th year teaching 5th grade here at Brookwood.

My teaching career began in 2006 as a reading tutor in Naugatuck, CT. Over the years, I have taught many grade levels. In 2005 I graduated from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH with a Bachelor of the Arts in American Studies, minor in English and Elementary Education. My Master's degree was achieved in 2010 at Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Remedial Reading and Language Arts. I love being a Brookwood Bobcat and look forward to another amazing year in fifth grade!

Mrs. McCormick

Mrs. McCormick has been teaching for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY New Paltz and her Master’s degree from Brenau University. After teaching in the juvenile justice system for three years, she moved to public school in 2001 to teach 6th grade language arts and social studies. She has since taught 6th grade gifted math, ELA, and social studies before coming to Brookwood in 2014 to teach 5th grade.

I am very excited to be joining Brookwood Elementary School for my first year of teaching. I graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I am committed to helping my students grow, and I look forward to the opportunities to learn from my students. It is going to be a great school year full of learning, new adventures and discoveries!

I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education K-12. After that, I received a Master's Degree from Valdosta State University in Curriculum Education with a Gifted and Reading Endorsement. I have taught Kindergarten for three years and Fifth grade for three years. This will be my sixth year teaching and my second year at Brookwood! I am so excited to start the 2019-2020 school year!
