Carla Mitchell, Art
Carla Mitchell is entering her ninth year of teaching art at Whitlow Elementary School. She loves the creativity that comes alive in her students artwork. She currently lives in Gainesville with her husband Stephen, and their son, Bowen. In her free time, she loves to paint, work in the yard, and watch DIY shows on HGTV.

Dedra is a graduate of Forsyth County Schools and Berry College. Her main instruments are percussion instruments, but she enjoys learning about them all! Mrs. Kirkland is entering her 14th year teaching in this county and look forward to another great year!

Let's get moving this year in PE! I can't wait to begin a new year filled with fun and exciting games. This will be my third year as a physical education teacher. Prior to becoming a physical education teacher, I taught fifth grade for five years.I have also taught grades 1- 5 throughout my career. It is wonderful to teach such great kids in Forsyth County.

He loves playing disc golf, going to local parks, and spending time with his fiancé. This is Mrs. Reynolds' 24th year teaching and her 10th year at Whitlow Elementary. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her Master's Degree from Piedmont College and her Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She is very excited to be teaching STEM Specials this year.

Mr. Hawlk earned his bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education and his master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia. He also has his Specialist degree in Curriculum Development from Lincoln Memorial University. He has a science, reading, and gifted education endorsement. Mr. Hawlk has been teaching in Forsyth County for twelve years. Mr. Hawlk currently teaches Science specials here at Whitlow Elementary. Go Wolves!
370254 firstname.lastname@example.org Kathy Brott, Robotics Mrs. Brott is starting her first year at Whitlow as the Robotics Teacher. She taught for 12 years in Gwinnett County before moving to Forsyth County Schools. Mrs. Brott earned her bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and a master’s degree from Brenau University both in early childhood education. She has also earned gifted and science endorsements. Mrs. Brott enjoys seeing the excitement in children when they discover the world of programming and robotics. 370401 email@example.com
