I am so excited to start another great school year at Haw Creek. I have been at Haw Creek since it opened, and before that, I was a teacher in Coral Springs, Florida. I have taught all grades from Kindergarten through fifth grade! I attended the University of Florida. Go Gators! I live in Cumming and have two wonderful boys. Jake is a senior at KSU and Max is a sophomore at UCF, in Orlando. We have a dog named Joy who we adore and spoil rotten! This is going to be a great year!

I am looking forward to my eighth year at Haw Creek Elementary teaching fifth grade. My husband and I moved to Georgia from Maine where I was born and raised. We love the warm climate here and enjoy spending time outdoors and hanging out with our Goldendoodle, Echo. This will be my 20th year of teaching full time, and I am happy to be focusing on my favorite subject this year - ELA.

I am so excited to be returning to Haw Creek Elementary!
A graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Finance and later completed an MBA program through the University of New Haven. While living in Connecticut, I worked for 15 years in the fields of relocation and human resources. After moving to Georgia, I went back to school to earn a Masters degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. I started my teaching career at Daves Creek Elementary and then moved to Haw Creek when the school opened in 2009. For the past 4 years I have taught 7th grade math at Riverwatch Middle School. This will be my 15th year teaching and I am beyond excited to be returning to Haw Creek!
My husband Alex and I have two children, Emily and Annie. Both are graduates of the University of Georgia – Go Dawgs! Emily is currently in PA school at Mercer University in Atlanta and Annie is working and living in New Jersey. Our dog Ollie is 7, but still acts like a puppy – he has us very well trained!
In my free time I love taking long walks, exercising, reading and spending time in the company of family and friends.
I am looking forward to the next school year!

This is my tenth year teaching and my ninth at Haw Creek. Within the classroom, I love challenging my students to grow in their writing and explore new books/genres in reading. If it is ELA, I love it! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, working out, playing with my two dogs, Luna and Thor, and doing "something outside". I am so excited about this school year!

Hi there! I'm so excited to be returning to Haw Creek!
I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Masters in Healthcare Management and a Masters in Business Administration. I spent ten years in healthcare consulting before beginning my second career as a math teacher. I began teaching 5th grade at Haw Creek in 2013. I have been teaching 7th grade math at Riverwatch Middle School for the past 5 years. I’m excited to be returning home to Haw Creek!
My husband, Charlie, and I have two teenagers who keep us very busy! Garrett just graduated from high school and will be attending Georgia Southern in the fall. Olivia will be a junior at Forsyth Central High School. We also have two cats, Ginny and Phoebe, and two Golden Retrievers, Rosie and Daisy.
In my free time, I love to play tennis, go for walks, cook dinners for family and friends and just enjoy quiet time at home!

Welcome to 5th grade! Not many people can say this, but I was born and raised in Atlanta, and have lived in Georgia my entire life except for a brief two years in Richmond, Va. This year will be my 17th year of teaching. I attended the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!!) and also have a graduate degree from Georgia State. Together, my husband and I have four wonderful kids - all products of Forsyth County schools. Needless to say, they keep us on our toes! I'm looking forward to another great year at Haw Creek :)

Mrs. Lara Leigh Pullano
Hello Haw Creek Huskies! My name is Lara Leigh Pullano. This upcoming year will be my 20th year of teaching. I attended Valdosta State University for my undergrad and later transferred and graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University. In addition I also have my Masters in Reading & Math from Walden University. I have been happily married to my husband, Kyle, for 14 years! We have one daughter, Addison, who is very excited to be a 6th grader at Lakeside Middle School. Winnie is our 4-year-old cockapoo that loves to snuggle. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends and family, watch my daughter dance with her competition team, and relax on my porch. We also have a lot of fun and laughs around the Pullano house! I am looking forward to another great year at Haw Creek!

I am very excited to begin my 9th year at Haw Creek Elementary and my 19th year teaching! I am very passionate about teaching 5th grade and will be teaching math, science and social studies! My husband and I have three very active boys. Jackson will be a 10th grader at Forsyth Central, Bryson will be a 7th grader at Lakeside Middle, and Cason will be a 4th grader here at Haw Creek. My family spends most of our free time at the baseball fields with all 3 boys playing! We love camping, boating, and anything outdoors. I am so excited for the 2022-2023 school year!
