I am a Forsyth County native and attended Big Creek and Daves Creek Elementary Schools, South Forsyth Middle School and graduated from South Forsyth High School in 2006. I attended North Georgia College and State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a Reading Endorsement in 2010 and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education with a Gifted Endorsement in 2012. Dawn Cantrell IRR I have been at Chattahoochee for many years in a variety of roles including parent volunteer, mentor, special education paraprofessional, autism teacher, and IRR teacher. I look forward to continue working as an IRR teacher in 2nd grade this year. I completed my undergraduate degree at Georgia State University in Early Childhood Education in 1993, my Master’s degree in Special Education at Brenau University in 2014, and my Specialist degree in Special Education at the Univ of West GA in 2020. My husband of 27 years and I are the parents of two former Chattahoochee Champions who attend the University of North Georgia. 150219

Keri Cook IRR I am thrilled to be a part of Chattahoochee’s IRR department! I have worked in Forsyth County for 16 years as a general education teacher in third and fourth grade, and as an IRR teacher serving children from kindergarten through fifth grade. I’m a graduate of Emory University and hold degrees in both Psychology and Religion. My teaching degree is from Georgia Southern University, and I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: Integrating the Arts, from Lesley University. My husband and I have one daughter, a couple of fur babies, and deer and occasional bears that romp in our backyard...which is a mountain. We all enjoy hiking, reading, or just hanging out as a family! I am honored to be on this journey with you and your child this year! 150436

Kristie Pruitt IRR I am so happy to be apart of the support team at Chattahoochee. This will be my second year as an IRR teacher. Before coming to Chattahoochee, I taught 2nd - 4th grade in a self-contained classroom in Gwinnett County Schools. I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I received my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Georgia last year. My first year at Chattahoochee was absolutely WONDERFUL and I could not be more excited to start my second year as a Champion! 150436

Amy Marcotte IRR This will be my 8th year teaching at Chattahoochee. I am a KSU Graduate! I am married to my husband, Chris. We have 3 children. Jennifer Collins One of my favorite things to do is to be with children and I am so blessed to have a job that allows me to do just that! I love teaching at Chattahoochee. This is my 10th year here and my 30th year of teaching. Most of my teaching experience has been in the Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms. What a privilege it is to serve along side of so many great teachers and help our students be the best they can be!
When I’m not at school I am enjoying my husband, Jeff and our 3 children and 4 granddaughters! We love to hike, swim, play games, and have lots of fun together as a family.

Christy Burns Title I This will be my 27th year as a teacher! I have taught Kindergarten (in Miami, Florida) and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade here in Georgia. I have also been a special education IRR teacher in 3rd grade and 5th grade. This will be my 8th year at Chattahoochee, and I am proud to be the school's Title I Lead Teacher. Belinda Bator Support I am so excited to start another year here with my Chattahoochee family! Dr. Sherrie Joiner EIP I have been an educator for 33 years. I have been an Early Intervention Program Specialist for the past 7 years. I am also the Student Support Team (SST) Coordinator. Kristi Aiken EIP This is my 33rd year of teaching, and I can honestly say I love it more and more each year. Twenty-seven of these years have been spent here at Chattahoochee Elementary! All of my experience has been in fourth and fifth grade. I am excited this year to be part of the Early Intervention Program. I live in Cumming with my husband. All of my children were Chattahoochee Champions! (You can definitely say I am a loyal Champion!) My oldest son, Nicholas, graduated from the University of North Georgia. My middle child, Jonathan, is a senior at Georgia Tech. Last but not least, my youngest child, Charlie, is starting his junior year at Berry College, where he plays football. I graduated from Georgia State University. Due to the fact that we did not have a football team at the time, I went to the Georgia Tech games. Paige Mahfouz ESOL My name is Paige Mahfouz and this year will be my 16th year at Chattahoochee Elementary School. My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, an MBA, and an Educational Certification from Brenau University. I taught 4th and 5th grade for many years and served as a support teacher in the Early Intervention Program for the past two years. There, I had the pleasure of working with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This year, I will join the ESOL team, and I look forward to supporting our EL students and their families. 150202

Amadous Deme Hello everyone! My name is Amadou Deme. I am from Africa and I speak seven languages. I received my bachelor’s from Nouakchott University in Mauritania and I have a Master’s in Integrating Technology in the Classroom from Lesley University. I have been teaching elementary school for many, many years, 17 of which right here at Chattahoochee. I love soccer and traveling, but my passion above all is my students. Holly Burkhardt Speech Hi, my name is Holly Burkhardt and I have been a speech language pathologist since 2004. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and my Master’s degree from East Tennessee State University. My work experience includes serving children and adults in a variety of settings including school systems, private practice, outpatient rehabilitation and hospitals. Christina Daniel Speech Hi! My name is Christina Daniel and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist here at Chattahoochee Elementary. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia (Gooo Dawgs!) and my Master’s in Communication Disorders from Auburn University. I’ve had the pleasure of working with both children and adults in various settings, including the school system, private practice, outpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. While I love working with all populations, pediatrics is my favorite! When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, and traveling. Randi Pomycala SLP Hello, hello! My name is Randi Pomycala and I am SO excited to be one of your Speech Pathologists, again this year, at Chattahoochee! I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia (we are HUGE Bulldog fans at our house!), and my master’s degree at Loyola University of Maryland. I have worked for the past several years as an SLP in the medical setting but joined the team at Chatt last fall and have LOVED the transition to the world of education (GO CHAMPIONS!)! I am a native Maryland-er (boy do I love crab cakes!), but am now, so happy to call Forsyth County, home. Ken Sirko Instructional Coach - Math My name is Kenneth Sirko and I am entering my 15th year in education. I have a passion for all things numbers, which leads to my love for teaching math. I am married with four wonderful children. I enjoy adventures with my family, home improvement projects, all things food, and the University of Michigan! Go Blue! Beth Perryman Instructional Coach - Literacy I love being a Chattahoochee Champion! I began teaching 27 years ago in Fulton County and have been teaching at Chattahoochee for over 10 years. My name is Ashley Sidwell and I recently graduated from the University of North Georgia with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, as well as, an endorsement in Reading! Tiffany Gilmore 2-3 ACA Teacher My name is Tiffany Gilmore and I am the ACA teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade. I have been married to my husband, Brian, for 26 years and have two beautiful daughters. In my leisure time I enjoy reading, traveling, and watching movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel movies, and Harry Potter. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Georgia State University. I received my Master’s degree with honors in Early Childhood Special Education, also from GSU, specializing in children from birth to fifth grade. Frances Trombley Pre-K Teacher I began teaching in 1992 after graduating from Valdosta State with a degree in Special Education. I obtained a Master’s in Special Education from Walden University. I have taught all grade levels and areas of disability over the course of 25 years of teaching. I am excited about starting my second year in special needs PreK at Chattahoochee. I came to Forsyth County Schools in July of 2016, so I am beginning my 6thh year at Chattahoochee. I have two adult children – Sarah and Marvin. I recently got married to my husband, Chris. Tama Myers Pre-K Teacher This year I am excited to be teaching the Pre-K program. This is my 15th year at Chattahoochee, but my 17th year teaching. During my career, I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, Second Grade, Third Grade, and serving as a Special Education Resource Teacher. Chene Wyatt Occupational Therapy I am so excited to begin my fourth year at Chattahoochee Elementary School as the Occupational Therapist. I have been an Occupational Therapist for the past 22 years (19 years in the pediatric setting) and have worked and travelled all around the world. I love to see children grow and learn in all areas of development. My husband and I met in Cumming, GA and have two beautiful children. Eli (11 years old) and Gracyn (4 years old).
