Leslie Butler has been a teacher here at Chestatee for 16 years. She enjoys working with students to help them see their true potential. Over the past 20 years, Mrs. Butler has worked with students within K-5, including, Title I Instruction, Early Intervention Program, Special Education, Kindergarten, and most recently First Grade. Mrs. Butler lives with her family within the Chestatee community.
This is Bella Caracciolo’s first year teaching at Chestatee Elementary. She obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from Georgia College and State University. Ms. Caracciolo, or Miss C to her students, is a North Forsyth native and is excited about returning home. She is excited about the 2022-2023 school year and can’t wait to meet the students and families of Chestatee!
This is Faye Cherico’s first year teaching at Chestatee Elementary. She is a recent graduate of the University of North Georgia where she obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Ms. Cherico believes in building positive and loving relationships with each of her students to instill a love of learning and be a support throughout their learning journey. Ms. Cherico attended Forsyth County schools for her elementary, middle, and high school years and is now so excited to continue to be a part of this community at Chestatee!
Diana Gore is excited to be teaching first grade again. Mrs. Gore obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from Kennesaw State University and her master’s degree in education from Mercer University. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade, and taught summer school (and worked as a long term sub) in third through fifth grade. She has served as science chair, math expert, and as an EIP teacher. Diana’s gifts to teaching are developing positive relationships and helping all students to feel loved, valued, and safe. Her love for learning is contagious. Diana is proud and thankful to be a Chestatee Eagle!
This will be Andrea Raymer's first year teaching at Chestatee. Mrs. Raymer received her Bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida in Early Childhood Education with ESOL and Reading Endorsements. She recently added Exceptional Student Education to her certificate. This is her 11th year of teaching. She has been lucky enough to have taught K-3rd grade as well as Special Education. She moved here this summer from Florida with her family. Mrs. Raymer is very excited to part of the Chestatee Family this year! Ext. 722
This will be Erin Rickett's 15th year of teaching. She taught one year of 5th grade. The remainder of her teaching career has been in 1st grade! She has her Bachelor's degree from Toccoa Falls College. She also has her endorsement for teaching gifted learners. She loves teaching and is so proud to be a Chestatee Eagle!
This is Beth Shelton's 21st year of teaching. Mrs. Shelton received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Auburn University. She has taught both general and special education in various grade levels. Mrs. Shelton is very excited for the new year!
Amy TricheThis will be Mrs. Triche's 12th year teaching at Chestatee. Mrs. Triche has received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Louisiana University and also has her GIfted Endorsement. Mrs. Triche has taught 1st grade for 11 years with a total for 22 years in all. She also taught 2nd and 3rd as well. Mrs. Triche is married with 2 grown daughters and 2 dogs. Mrs. Triche loves being part of the Chestatee family.
This will be Penny Wade's 20th year at Chestatee Elementary. She has previously taught at Chattahoochee Elementary and Matt Elementary. Mrs. Wade attended Auburn University and North Georgia College and State University. She has a bachelor's of science in Special Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Wade has taught kindergarten for 19 years, first grade for 6 years, and second grade for 4 years. She will be teaching first grade for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year and she loves being a part of the Chestatee Elementary family!
