Theresa Carley

    This will be Theresa Carley's 19th year teaching 3rd grade at Chestatee Elementary. Mrs. Carley received her bachelor's degree from Illinois State University. She received her Master's degree in educational technology from Lesley University and her Specialist's degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She is eager to be teaching her 3rd graders this year and to be a part of the Chestatee team.

    Erin Drane

    This is Mrs.Drane's third year at Chestatee, and tenth year in Forsyth County schools. She is excited to meet her awesome 3rd graders! Mrs. Drane graduated from North Georgia College and State University with a History degree. After working as a kindergarten paraprofessional for several years, she went back to school and graduated from Liberty University with her Masters of Art in Teaching. Mrs. Drane is a Forsyth county native, and lives with her husband, spoiled rotten cat, Jackets and handsome son, Randy. Mrs. Drane is looking forward to meeting you at open house!

    Amy Garrett

    Amy Garrett is beginning her 26th year of teaching at Chestatee. She is a graduate of North Georgia College and State University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Later, she received endorsements to her certificate in reading and gifted education. While at Chestatee, she has taught in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, as well as Title I and EIP support positions. She loves teaching 3rd graders and is very excited to meet you at Open House!

    Brianna Hundt

    This is Mrs. Hundt's 8th year teaching at Chestatee! She is so excited to welcome a new group of 3rd graders! Mrs. Hundt graduated from Gainesville State College with her Early Childhood Education degree. Because she strongly believes learning is a life-long journey, she has continued to attend school over the years. First, she received her Master's Degree from Georgia State in K-12, Language, Literacy, and ESOL. After graduating with her Master's Degree, she attended classes through Piedmont, where she received her Specialist in Education as well as her Leadership Addition. Mrs. Hundt has a passion for learning and hopes to share that with you! She cannot wait to meet you at open house!

    Kelly Sumner

    Kelly Sumner has been teaching in Forsyth County for the past seventeen years. She has taught both second grade and third grade at Sawnee and Daves Creek Elementary before Chestatee. She graduated from Georgia Southern University and holds her degree in Early Childhood Education along with her science endorsement. She enjoys hands-on creative learning opportunities and takes pride in making school fun and meaningful for her students. Ms. Sumner is a proud Chestatee Eagle and is looking forward to a fantastic school year!

    Lucy Murray

    Lucy Murray has been teaching in Forsyth County Schools for fourteen years. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in elementary education. She holds a Masters degree in elementary reading and math and a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. She completed her gifted endorsement in 2015. She has a love of reading and believes learning math should be fun! This is her fifth year teaching at Chestatee Elementary. Mrs. Murray is very excited to teach third grade this year!

    Mallory Skinner

    This will be Mrs. Skinner's third year at Chestatee Elementary but her 8th year as an educator in Forsyth County Schools. Mrs. Skinner graduated from North Georgia College with a degree in Early Childhood Education with Reading, SPED, Gifted, and ESOL endorsements. She is currently working on her Masters degree through UNG. She has a love of teaching and learning and is excited to grow that love of learning with her students. She looks forward to meeting her new students and having a great year!

    Heather Styles

    This will be Ms. Styles third year at Chestatee Elementary and her ninth year as an educator. Ms. Styles graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to receive her Master's degree from the University of North Georgia in Early Childhood Education and her Gifted endorsement. She has had the joy of teaching Kindergarten and Second Grade. She is very excited to be teaching Third Grade at Chestatee Elementary. She is looking forward to meeting all of her sweet students.
