Cierra Cappon
This will be Cierra Cappon's sixth year at Chestatee Elementary. Ms. Cappon received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from the University of North Georgia and her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Piedmont University. Ms. Cappon has had the pleasure of teaching special education for 4th grade and kindergarten, along with 4th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies, and 2nd grade. This will be her first year teaching 3rd grade. Ms. Cappon is a graduate of Forsyth County Schools and loves being able to give back to the community. Ms. Cappon loves being a part of the Chestatee family!

Sierra Chapman
This will be Sierra Chapman's 3rd year teaching at Chestatee. Ms. Chapman graduated from the University of North Georgia and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She is very excited about beginning her first year teaching 3rd grade!

Deb Clark
Mrs. Deborah Clark is thrilled to return as a part of the Third Grade Team this year! She is a graduate of Brenau University with 21 years of experience in education and has completed her Math Endorsement. Deborah has worked across grade levels K-5, including Physical Education, STEM & Science Pathways, and Early Intervention. Her philosophy is that all children can realize their potential and exceed expectations if everyone works together and supports one another. She is excited about teaching third grade and looks forward to connecting with families here at the "T".Ext. 722444 Melissa Gresham
Melissa Gresham is so excited to join the Chestatee family! This will be Mrs. Gresham's 17th year of teaching in second and third grades. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University, a Master's degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University, as well as a Reading Endorsement. Mrs. Gresham is married with 2 sons and has one very spoiled dog. She loves cruises, all things Disney, UGA football, and reading lots of books. Teaching is truly her passion, and she is ready for another tremendous year in 3rd grade!

This will be Breanna Helms' first year teaching and she is beyond excited. Ms. Helms attended the University of North Georgia where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education with a reading endorsement. She is a native of Forsyth County. Ms. Helms prioritizes building strong relationships with students to create a classroom environment that fosters academic and personal growth. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, CrossFit, and hanging out with her dog Ellie. Ms. Helms is set to get married in November where she will become Mrs. Tompkins! She is excited to start her teaching career at the "T" and can not wait to connect with her future students and their families! Go Eagles!

This will be Alexis Koch's 9th year teaching. Ms. Koch received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of West Georgia and her Specialist degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Piedmont College. She also has a reading, science, math, and ESOL endorsements. She has had the wonderful opportunity to teach first, second and third grade. Ms. Koch loves making relationships with her students and giving them hands-on experiences. She is looking forward to another fantastic year in third grade!

Bethany Martin
This will be Bethany Martin's third year of teaching at Chestatee. Bethany graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education in both general and special education. She also obtained a reading endorsement at UNG. Bethany values the Chestatee community and building meaningful relationships with her students. She is excited about another great school year at the T!

Megan Orr
This will be Megan Orr's 11th year teaching in Forsyth County Schools. This will be her 6th year at Chestatee. Mrs. Orr received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and her teaching certificate from the University of North Georgia. She has had the wonderful opportunity of teaching kindergarten, third grade and fourth grade. She has a son entering 6th grade and a son entering 3rd grade at Chestatee. She also has a daughter who is 3 years old. She loves teaching in her community!

Heather Styles
Ms. Styles has been teaching at Chestatee for seven years. This will be her thirteenth year teaching in Forsyth County. Ms. Styles graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to receive her Master's degree from the University of North Georgia in Early Childhood Education and her Gifted endorsement. She has had the joy of teaching Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Third Grade. She is very excited about be teaching Third Grade at Chestatee Elementary. She is looking forward to meeting all of her sweet students.

Alyssa Torres
This will be Alyssa Torres' 2nd year teaching at Chestatee! Ms. Torres received her Bachelor's degree in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of North Georgia. She has had the wonderful opportunity of doing her student teaching at Chestatee when she was pursuing her degree. She is very excited to be part of the third grade team again this year. She loves being part of the family here at Chestatee!
