Sarah
Sarah Cockerham has 14 years of experience teaching in Forsyth County Schools. Mrs. Cockerham taught 3 years at Mashburn Elementary, teaching 4th grade, 7 years at Brookwood Elementary teaching 4th grade and Special Education (grades 2-5). This is her fifth year at the "T" teaching 4th grade ELA and Social Studies. She holds an undergrad dual degree obtained in Early Childhood Education and Special Education as well as a reading endorsement from North Georgia College. She also graduated from Mercer University with a Master's in Education and an ESOL endorsement. She loves being a parent and teacher at Chestatee!

Sarah Hammond
This will be Sarah Hammond’s 17th year of teaching. She is a North Forsyth High School graduate and holds a B.S. in Education from the University of North Georgia. She has taught special education, second, third, and fourth grade. She lives in Forsyth County with her husband, three kids (two of whom attend Chestatee), and Yorkie Poo named Magnolia. She is excited to continue teaching fourth grade again this year & loves being part of the Chestatee family.

Jasmine Flores
This will be Jasmine Flores' second year teaching at Chestatee. Ms.Flores received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a Reading Endorsement from the University of North Georgia. She had the wonderful opportunity of being the Title 1 teacher her first year where she supported first, second, forth, and fifth grade. She is very excited to be serving our staff and student as a forth grade teacher this year. She loves being a part of the family at Chestatee!

Susan Splawn
This will be Mrs. Splawn's third year at Chestatee Elementary and her twelth year as an educator. Mrs. Splawn graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She later graduated from Columbus State University with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement. She has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades. She is very excited to teach 4th grade this year. She knows it is going to be a fantastic year!

Rebecca Stowers
Mrs. Rebecca Stowers is in her second year of teaching at Chestatee. Mrs. Stowers graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Elementary Education, in addition to a Reading and ESOL endorsement. She is very excited to teach another amazing group of 4th graders while building positive relationships with her students and their families. She knows this year is going to be an exciting year filled with a lot of learning and fun! While Mrs. Stowers is not teaching, she loves working with the youth at her church, cheering on the DAWGS, and spending time with family, friends and her cows.

Rock Reed
Mr. Rock Reed is happy to begin his 9th year at Chestatee. He has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Walden University. Mr. Reed enjoys running. seeing the looks on student faces as they discover their tallents, and laughing at a good joke. He loves the Chestatee community and looks forward to teaching 4th grade this year.

Ashton Vulcano
Ashton Vulcano graduated from University of North Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a reading endorsement. This is her sixth year at Chestatee. She has experience in 4th grade and as a Title 1 teacher. She enjoys spending her free time at the lake with her husband, son, and two dogs! She is super excited to be teaching 4th grade math, science, and social studies this year!

Kim Ware
This will be Kimberly Ware’s 2nd year at Chestatee, but her 13th year as a teacher in Forsyth County. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University. She has taught 3rd grade and 5th grade, but is looking forward to teaching 4th grade this school year. She looks forward to building relationships with her students and their parents!
