Sarah Cockerham
Sarah Cockerham has 14 years of experience teaching in Forsyth County Schools. Mrs. Cockerham taught 3 years at Mashburn Elementary, teaching 4th grade, 7 years at Brookwood Elementary teaching 4th grade and Special Education (grades 2-5). This is her fifth year at the "T" teaching 4th grade ELA and Social Studies. She holds an undergrad dual degree obtained in Early Childhood Education and Special Education as well as a reading endorsement from North Georgia College. She also graduated from Mercer University with a Master's in Education and an ESOL endorsement. She loves being a parent and teacher at Chestatee!

Jasmine Flores
This will be Jasmine Flores' fourth year teaching at Chestatee. She taught Title 1 her first year, and this will be her third year teaching fourth grade. Ms. Flores received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a Reading Endorsement from the University of North Georgia as well as a minor in Spanish. She also recently completed the ESOL Endorsement. Ms. Flores is excited to continue working at Chestatee and cannot wait to see what this year has in store. Ashley Klingseisen
This is Ashley Klingseisen's 1st year teaching at Chestatee, but her 15th year teaching. Mrs. Klingseisen received her Bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University and her Master's degree from Walden University. She has had the opportunity to teach Pre-K, Kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grades. Mrs. Klingseisen is excited to be a part of the Chestatee family!

Bethany Martin
This will be Bethany Martin’s first year of teaching. She is so excited to be joining the third grade team at Chestatee Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. Mrs. Martin received her degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a reading endorsement at the University of North Georgia. She is very thankful for the opportunity to join the Chestatee family and can’t wait for an amazing first year of teaching!

Susan Splawn
This will be Mrs. Splawn's fifth year at Chestatee Elementary and her fourteenth year as an educator. Mrs. Splawn graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She later graduated from Columbus State University with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement. She has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades. Rebecca Stowers
Mrs. Rebecca Stowers is going into her fourth year of teaching at Chestatee. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Kennesaw State University and her Master’s from Piedmont University. Mrs. Stowers has a Reading, ESOL, and Gifted Endorsement. Currently, Mrs. Stowers is pursuing her Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University. She is very excited to continue her career teaching fourth grade at the T!

Jackie Vaca
This will be Jackie Vaca's 4th year at Chestatee. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Georgia. She taught first grade for two years, but is excited to continue teaching 4th grade math this year.

Tiffany Vorick
This will be Tiffany Vorick's second year at Chestatee, and her 10th year in elementary education. Mrs. Vorick received her Bachelor's from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and her masters from the University of North Georgia. She has taught second and fourth grade, as well as EIP in grades 1-5. Mrs. Vorick is excited for another year at Chestatee!

Kim Ware
This will be Kim Ware’s 15th year as a teacher in Forsyth County. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University. She has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, but is looking forward to another year in 4th grade. She looks forward to building relationships with her students and their parents!
