    Kelly Fitzpatrick

    This will be Kelly Fitzpatrick’s 15th year teaching with 13 of those years at Chestatee. Mrs. Fitzpatrick received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from University of Georgia. She has taught kindergarten, special education, and been media center para. She is excited to be the Science/STEM pathway teacher for the upcoming school year. She loves being a part of the Chestatee family and community.

    Julie Hubbard

    This will be Julie Hubbard's 30th year teaching Art. She has been at Chestatee Elementary since 2005. She graduated from UGA in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Art Education. She has taught countless students over the years her love of Art. She loves being a part of the Chestatee Pathways team and is looking forward to a great year!

    Jennifer Reece

    This will be Jennifer Reece's 13th year teaching at Chestatee. Mrs. Reece received her Bachelor's degree from Brenau University, Master's degree from Walden University, and her Specialist in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Piedmont College. She has had the awesome opportunity to teach first grade and third grades. She is so delighted to be serving our staff and students again as the audio visual teacher and yearbook advisor. She loves being a part of the Chestatee Family!

    Melanie Roper

    Mrs. Roper has taught at Chestatee since 2002. Mrs. Roper has a long history at Chestatee, because all of her family, including herself, attended this school. Many family members worked here as well. She earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from Brenau University and a Master of Music Education from the University of Georgia. She teaches general music to K-5th grade and directs the Chestatee Chorus for 4th and 5th grade. She has taught all grade levels in either piano, voice, organ, choir/chorus or general music. She also has an active role in the music program at Salem Baptist Church.

    Sarah Wiggins

    This will be Mrs. Wiggins' 30th year of teaching. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, she taught in Fulton County schools for 10 years, teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. In 2004 Mrs. Wiggins came to Chestatee Elementary after her family moved to the area. During her time at Chestatee she has taught 4th and 5th grades as well as being the Writing Teacher to the entire school. In 2011, she earned her Masters in Media and technology from Ga. Southern University. She has been our media specialist for the last 6 years and LOVES sharing her passion for reading and writing with our students.

    Christy Waters

    This will be Christy Waters' 22nd year teaching at Chestatee. Mrs. Waters received her Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Brenau University, her Master's degree in physical education and health from the University of North Georgia, and her Specialist degree in curriculum design and instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She has had the wonderful opportunity to teach second grade, third grade, and physical education. She is very excited to be serving our staff and students as the physical education teacher this year. She loves being a part of the family at Chestatee!
