Meet Our Special Education Team
In her 16 years of teaching, Lindsey Arnett has been privileged to work with students and teachers in a variety of K-5 settings. She has worked as a classroom teacher, Pathways teacher, IRR Special Education Teacher, and currently a K-1 Specialized Instruction Teacher. Lindsey received her undergraduate and M.S degrees from North Georgia College. She holds degrees in Early Childhood Education, Special Education as well as her reading and gifted endorsements. One of her favorite aspects of teaching is watching students grow and learn over the course of the school year and all the progress they make over 180 school days.
I have a dual major from NGCSU (2003) with a BS in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Special Education. This is my 18th year as an educator, encompassing high school to elementary school and in-person and online instructional experiences. I've lived in NoFo almost all of my life, specifically in the Silver City area for the last five years. My husband, Brad, and I have five children. Our oldest three graduated from FCHS. Our youngest two are both at NFMS and are future Raiders. I love spending time with my family, reading, traveling, fantasy football, hiking, and relaxing at the beach! And of course, Go Dawgs! I'm thrilled to be returning to Silver City for the second official year as a Specialized Instruction Classroom Teacher. Let's go Comets!
