Hello KME families and welcome to Kindergarten! I grew up in Savannah, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career in Gwinnett County where I taught 2nd grade for 9 years and 3rd grade for 2 years. After being a stay at home mom for 5 years, I began substitute teaching in Forsyth County. This included long term sub positions in 4th grade and Kindergarten. My time in Kindergarten gave me the answer to what I wanted to do next. This will be my sixth amazing year teaching Kindergarten here at Kelly Mill! My husband, Dan, and I have been married for 21 years and we have 3 boys. This year Braddock is in 12th grade, Cade is in 9th, and Garron is in 7th. I look forward to working with your family and encouraging your child as they learn and grow this year!

Hey KME Colts! My name is Christina Harbuck and I am so excited to meet you and your family! I am part of the Kindergarten team at KME and have had the privilege to teach the exciting age of Kindergarten for 22 years! This is my 7th year at Kelly Mill and I have loved getting to know many of you and your families while working with your sweet babies! I have my Master's in Early Childhood Education along with a Reading and Mentor Endorsement. My husband, Carey, and I have a daughter, Cathryn, who will be going to second grade this year. We're excited about her continuing to learn and grow at Kelly Mill! We love going camping, participating in sports, and cheering on our favorite sports teams! I'm so excited to meet and work with you and your child this year! It's going to be a great year!!

My name is Kristy Harrell. I grew up in Alpharetta and graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 26th year of teaching-25 years in Kindergarten. I started my teaching career in Orlando, Florida. I moved back to Georgia in 2003 to continue my career with Forsyth County Schools. I have been at Kelly Mill since we opened in 2012. My husband, Billy, and I have been married for 23 years. We have two sons and a daughter. David is 21 and a senior at Jacksonville State University studying Music Education. Benjamin is 18 and a student at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance. Hannah is 15 and a sophomore at West Forsyth High School. I love cooking, reading, and watching college football.

Hello! My name is Kerri McNamara and I am so excited to be the Kindergarten DLI English teacher at Kelly Mill! I received my Masters in Reading and Literacy from Georgia State and also hold an ESOL and Reading Endorsement. I am a mom to 3 wonderful girls. My oldest 2 girls are current Colts in the DLI Program. My husband also works in education and our family enjoys hiking, the beach, and anything Disney! I am looking forward to an amazing year!!

Hi Colts!! My name is Lindsey Quarles. I am so excited to be joining the Kindergarten team for the 24-25 school year!

This will be my first year at KME and my 16th year teaching in Forsyth County. I graduated with my degree in education from the University of North Georgia. I am coming to you from Big Creek Elementary where I taught Kindergarten and First grade.

I reside in Cumming with my husband Beau and our amazing son Banks (2) who brings so much joy to our lives. In my free time you will find me watching college football, relaxing on the lake or at the beach and spending quality time with family and friends. I am looking forward to an amazing year at KME!!

Hello, my name is Karina Quintero and I am starting my sixth year as a DLI Spanish teacher at Kelly Mill. I am thrilled to begin the new school year and meet all of you! I am from Peru and have lived in Georgia for over 20 years. I obtained my Early Childhood Education degree from the Catholic University in Peru and later earned a diploma in Learning Disabilities. I am married and we have a 17-year-old daughter who is a senior at Central Forsyth High School. We also have a little dog named Luna. Our family enjoys traveling and camping, especially at the beach.

My name is Ashly Stephens and I attended the University of Georgia. (GO DAWGS!) I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades.

I have taught at Kelly Mill since we opened in 2012. This will be my 17th year teaching kindergarten, and I wholeheartedly adore this age group!

My husband, Tim, and I have two very active boys, T.J. and Preston. T.J. attends the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and Preston attends Forsyth Central High School.
