Ashley Crowder - 3rd Grade IR Teacher
I am Ashley Crowder and am so excited and blessed to be starting my tenth year here at Kelly Mill! This is my seventeenth year teaching in which I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and sixth grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia. I also have my Special Education certification and Gifted endorsement. I absolutely love teaching and hearing the ideas and thoughts from students! I thrive on watching students grow, learn, mature, and gain understanding. My goal for my classroom is to become a family where we learn together, celebrate accomplishments, care for one another, and gain understanding on thinking of others over ourselves! I consider my "job" as the most fun and rewarding!

Chelsea Daher - 2nd Grade IR Teacher
My name is Chelsea Daher (dare). I started off my college career in New York with a water polo scholarship to Sienna College. I quickly realized I did not like the freezing cold and moved back down to Georgia where I finished school at Georgia Southern earning my degree in Special and General Education. I have been teaching for 10 years and have been at Kelly Mill for 8 of those years. My husband Alex and I just welcomed our second son, Brayden, in May and our first born son, Carson, is 2. I am excited to start another year at the best school in Forsyth County!

Kathy Wade - Kindergarten & 1st Grade IR Teacher
I am so excited to join the Kelly Mill community! I've been a Special Ed. teacher in Forsyth County for the past 20 years (Vickery Creek Elem., Sharon Elem., Midway Elem.) All 3 of our "grown children" have graduated from West Forsyth HS. I taught Kng, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades (California, Michigan-my home state, and Florida) as a classroom teacher for 15 years before finding my passion in Special Education. I'm feeling blessed for this next journey. Go Colts!

Susan Weiner - 4th Grade IR Teacher
I am delighted to be starting my third school year with Kelly Mill. I am originally from Arlington, Va. and went to school at George Mason University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and continued onto graduate school where I earned a Masters Degree in Special Education. After graduate school I decided to move to Southern California, where I was an elementary special education teacher for the past 23 years. My husband’s job offered him a relocation to Ga last July and my family and I jumped at the opportunity! Our son, Matthew, will be starting his second year at North Forsyth HS and our very nervous mini-schnauzer, Charlie, is still trying to figure out what to do in the new backyard! Although I do miss our daily beach walks, I enjoy exploring all the outdoor activities GA has to offer! I truly enjoy working with and teaching children; especially those children who may learn a little differently. I look forward to another great year at Kelly Mill!

Kristin Duclos - EBI (K-1) Teacher
Hello Kelly Mill Colts! I’m Kristin Duclos and I am very excited about being a part of the Kelly Mill team this year. I earned my undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern in Special Education and a Master’s Degree from Georgia State in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders. I taught in Fulton County Schools for 3 years in a self-contained classroom. I’ve also worked in Dekalb County with OHI students for 7 years.
I have 3 beautiful daughters who I am so proud of. I have a 25-year-old daughter named Kara who graduated from West Forsyth High School and UGA. She works in corporate event planning and has done work with the Atlanta Hawks. I have twins, Stephanie and Adrienne, who recently graduated from UGA. Go DAWGS! Stephanie works in Public Relations and recently moved to Charleston, SC. Adrienne is in the Insurance industry and is training to be an underwriter. I love spending time with them and being a girl mom!
I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I used to give up my recess to tutor students who were falling behind. My passion is helping students succeed, especially under extenuating circumstances. I’m an animal lover and my happy place is the beach. I’m looking forward to a fantastic 2022-2023 school year!
