Susan Weiner - Kindergarten IR Teacher

I am delighted to be starting my second school year with Kelly Mill. I am originally from Arlington, Va. and went to school at George Mason University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and continued onto graduate school where I earned a Masters Degree in Special Education. After graduate school I decided to move to Southern California, where I was an elementary special education teacher for the past 22 years. My husband’s job offered him a relocation to Ga last July and my family and I jumped at the opportunity! Our son, Matthew, will be starting his second year at North Forsyth HS and our very nervous mini-schnauzer, Charlie, is still trying to figure out what to do in the new backyard! Although I do miss our daily beach walks, I enjoy exploring all the outdoor activities GA has to offer! I truly enjoy working with and teaching children; especially those children who may learn a little differently. I look forward to another great year at Kelly Mill!
