I received my undergrad degree from Georgia State University and my Masters from the University of Georgia. I have been teaching for 29 years. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade and EIP.  I love teaching children the skills they need to be good readers! I worked at Daves Creek Elementary for 16 years and worked previously in Gwinnett County for 13 years .  My husband, Bob and I live in the North Forsyth area and have 3 daughters. Ashley, Allie and Lauren. We spend our weekends watching Lauren play softball, gardening and spending time with family and friends. I am looking forward to meeting all of my sweet 2nd graders at Open House.  We will have so much fun this year!

My name is Wendy Wells. I am on my 20th year of teaching elementary school (15 in Forsyth County) and on my 7th year here, at Coal Mountain Elementary. I have taught several grade levels in beautiful places such as Hawaii, California and Savannah, Georgia. However, Forsyth County is special to me because it is my hometown.
