My name is Leslie Flath and this is my thirteenth year as a school counselor.  I earned my B.S. of Psychology from Mary Washington College in Virginia and my M.Ed. in School Counseling from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Prior to becoming a school counselor I taught special education in kindergarten through seventh grade.

My son and I moved to Forsyth five years ago and we have grown to love this community, especially our Sharon family.

I LOVE my career as a school counselor and can not think of a more rewarding way to spend my days. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my children!!!! I also enjoy running, hiking and scuba diving!!

I believe that every child has the ability to achieve their goals and dreams and it is such a privilege to have the opportunity to love, support and encourage them through their journey.
My desire as a school counselor is to work together with our community and families to ensure the success of each of our students.  If you have any questions regarding our counseling program or if you need assistance, please feel free to call me at 770-888-7511.
You can also reach me by email at:  lflath@forsyth.k12.ga.us
I am looking forward to another outstanding year at Sharon Elementary!
