This is Ms. Mento's 7th year teaching at Brookwood Elementary. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University. She also has her ESOL and Gifted endorsements. Ms. Mento has taught fourth grade, special education, EIP, and ESOL and is excited for another year of teaching and learning!

This will be my 24th year in the field of education. I graduated from Florida International University with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my endorsement in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I taught kindergarten/ESOL for ten years in Miami, Florida, and this will be my twelfth year teaching in Forsyth County.

Hi! I am Mrs. Reynaud, and I have had the pleasure of teaching at Brookwood for the past seven years. I received my undergraduate degree in Information Technology and my Masters in Elementary Education. Since coming to Forsyth County, I have received my ESOL and Gifted Endorsements and currently working on my Math Endorsement. I look forward to continuing to have a positive impact on the children's growth and to new discoveries with an amazing team of teachers.

Mrs. Davis
Mrs. Davis is a Georgia native and has been teaching elementary school for 21 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia, a Master's degree in Gifted and Creative Studies from UGA, and a Specialist's degree from Piedmont College in Curriculum and Instruction. This is her sixth year at Brookwood, where she strives daily to challenge and inspire her students and instill a love of learning.

Mrs. Vanerstrom
Mrs. Vanerstrom will begin her 21st year teaching and is looking forward to another amazing school year! She has her master's degree in elementary education, her reading endorsement, and gifted certification. She feels her job as facilitator is to develop enriching, engaging lessons that stretch the thinking of her young students and provide a safe, welcoming, and enthusiastic environment in which to learn the rigor necessary for academic success. I am excited to serve Brookwood as the Instructional Coach! I have a B.S.Ed. in English Education from the University of Georgia and a Master's degree in Reading/ESOL from Georgia State. After that, I attended Kennesaw State and earned an Ed.S. in Instructional Technology and an Ed.D. in Teacher Leadership. My goal is to never stop learning and growing! I began my career as a high school English teacher, and I have also taught English as a Second Language at the middle and elementary levels. I have also served as a media specialist and a Curriculum Support Teacher prior to coming to Brookwood. I am looking forward to an amazing year!

My teaching career began in 2006 as a reading tutor in Naugatuck, CT. Over the years, I have taught many grade levels. In 2005 I graduated from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH with a Bachelor of the Arts in American Studies, minor in English, and Elementary Education. My Master's Degree was achieved in 2010 at Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Remedial Reading and Language Arts. I love being a Brookwood Bobcat! I have spent three years in fifth grade and look forward to my first year in the Media Center!
