122164 firstname.lastname@example.org McGraw, Devon
Devon McGraw has been teaching for 20 years in a variety of different roles. After graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio she began teaching first grade in 1990 in Duluth, Georgia. She also taught third grade in the same school and equally loved her time in the classroom in that role. After transitioning to being a full-time mother for a time she was given the opportunity to work part-time at Georgia State University mentoring student teachers and observing them in the field. In 2008 she jumped at the opportunity to join the Sharon Elementary staff where her children attended. She feels very fortunate to be working with small groups of students offering them differentiated learning opportunities.
Devon has lived in the south Forsyth area for 26 years with her husband Mark. Their daughter Katie is a junior Biology major at Georgia College and their son Jack is a budding entrepreneur who attends Lambert High School as an 11th grader. Devon enjoys reading, walking, gardening and keeping up with her two dogs Scooter and Winnie as well as her cat, Tigger. Their family enjoys travel, eating out and splashing around on Lake Lanier together.

Mrs. Wutz is a National Board Certified Teacher of Language Arts (K-12) with a Master’s in Reading and an original focus on Early Childhood Education. She comes from a laboratory school back in Normal, Illinois, on the campus of Illinois State University. She has taught preschool through college-aged learners using the effectiveness of a reading/writing workshop. In all of her teaching experiences, she uses the power of mentor writers and well-written literature to learn about the world around us.
Mrs. Wutz has only been in Georgia for three years – making the move south with Mr. Wutz to follow their passions – the sun, warmer weather, and the outdoors. She enjoys outdoor concerts, hiking, boating, bicycling, swimming, stand up paddle boarding and most recently…FootGolf! And, of course, a day when she can enjoy a good book or time spent writing becomes a good one. Murphy Brown, her yellow lab, is the other important member of her family.
