Ms. Carly Gordon, ESOL

Hello fellow knights! My name is Carly Gordon. This will be my first year at Sharon and my sixth year teaching. I am excited to join this amazing school of knights.

I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my undergrad and graduate studies. I completed my masters degree two years ago, along with my ESOL endorsement.  I love applying my new knowledge to further students’ learning.

This is going to be an astounding year full of growth and positivity. Please reach out to me if you have questions, concerns, or comments in the future! Go knights!

Mrs. Laura Mazul, EIP

Are you ready for the best year yet?  Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

This will be my 13th year teaching and my 10th year at Sharon.  I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2012 with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.  I believe that one should never stop learning, so I returned to KSU and received my Masters in Inclusive Education.  My favorite part of teaching it is telling my students they are capable, and watching them believe in themselves while conquering their goals.

As a general education teacher, ESOL, and EIP teacher I have taught all elementary grades.  I am excited to bring my knowledge of the grade level progressions to enhance your childs’ learning.

My greatest passions are teaching and animals.  In fact, my love of animals and hippotherapy led me to become a teacher.  My husband and I earned the new title of mom and dad, when we welcomed our daughter into the world on Black Friday of 2023!  We live on a farm where we have 2 horses, 2 dogs, and a cat.

I look forward to getting to know you.  This will be a great year!

Mrs. Jessica Nardecchia, EIP

My name is Jessica Nardecchia, and I am so excited to be returning for a 7th year to Sharon Elementary. I taught 4th grade at Sharon Elementary for 4 years, and I am excited to be starting my third year as an Early Intervention teacher.

I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master of Arts in Education, with an endorsement in reading, from The University of Findlay, located in Ohio. My husband, Cory, and I relocated from Ohio to the Atlanta area in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the Georgia life!

The 2024-2025 school year will be my 10th year teaching. Before coming to Sharon Elementary, I taught as a 3rd-grade teacher in Gwinnett County Public Schools. During my time in Gwinnett, I completed my gifted endorsement, enabling me to encourage innovative and creative thinking in my classroom. I enjoy fostering a supportive family-like feel in my classroom, where students feel supported and encouraged in their learning. I recently gained my dyslexia endorsement and look forward to using all my new knowledge to best support students and teachers at Sharon

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and dog! We love going on walks, playing, and exploring new areas together! We also enjoy watching movies, attending concerts, going out to eat, and spending time with friends.

Mrs. Bailey Stewart, Instructional Coach

Welcome to another year at Sharon! I am excited to continue as the Instructional Coach. This school year will be my fifteenth year of teaching.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State, Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Troy University, and a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial. I also have my leadership certificate. I have taught grades K-3 prior to becoming an Instructional Coach.

I am married to Brandon, who teaches and is the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at North Forsyth High School. We have three kids, Landon (10th grade), Isabella (9th grade), and Matson (3rd Grade).
