Leila Fondo K-1 Counselor This will be Leila Fondo's 5th year at Chestatee Elementary and her 15th year as an educator. Ms. Fondo graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Psychology. She later graduated from Troy State University with a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Development. Ms. Fondo has had the honor of being a high school counselor both in Georgia and Florida. Prior to entering the field of education Ms. Fondo was a mental health counselor for children from the ages of 3 to 17. She is thrilled to be the Kindergarten and 1st grade School counselor for Chestatee Elementary. 722166 email@example.com Lauren Porter 2-3 Counselor Lauren Porter is looking forward to her first year at Chestatee Elementary School working with second and third grade students. Ms. Porter has a passion for students and enjoys collaborating with parents and teachers to best support all students' academic, social and emotional needs. She recently graduated from Liberty University with a M.Ed. in School Counseling and has experience working with students in both settings. Ms. Porter’s goal is to help students develop social and emotional skills that will foster quality learning and lifelong success. In her free time, you may find Ms. Porter enjoying time outdoors, reading a good book with her cat, Suki, or diving into an art project. Robin Mitchell is returning for her second year at Chestatee and her sixteenth year in Forsyth County schools. Ms. Mitchell attended both the University of Montevallo and Valdosta State University. She will be the counselor for fourth and fifth grades. Ms. Mitchell is looking forward to building relationships with students as they embark on their academic, career, and social/emotional journeys. Ms. Mitchell is grateful to be a part of the Chestatee family.
