•  GA Milestones End-Of-Course (EOC)

    Testing Information

    Spring 2024

  • The Georgia Milestones Assessment System includes four End-of-Course Assessments that must be completed by Georgia high school students for validation of course credit and as part of their grade for the corresponding course. 

    Testing will take place the week of April 29 - May 3, with make-up tests administered in the afternoons and throughout the following week. Note that the week of April 29 is NOT a virtual week. All SFHS students must attend school for the entire school day. Testing will begin promptly so please make sure that your students are on time and know where to report for EOC testing.

    Algebra:  The Algebra EOC is required for all students enrolled in Algebra Concepts and Connections. A student's score on the EOC counts as 10% of the course grade.

    American Lit Section 1: The American Lit EOC is required for all students enrolled in American Lit or AP English Language & CompositionA student's score on the EOC counts as 10% of the course gradeThe test is administered in three sections (Section 1 on Wednesday -5/1 and Section 2 & 3 on Thursday 5/2).

    US History: The US History EOC is required for all students enrolled in US HistoryA student's score on the EOC counts as 10% of the course grade.  

     

    *Students enrolled in AP US History or DE US History are not required to take the EOC. 

     

     

    Transportation:  Busses will run on a normal schedule. Testing will begin promptly at 8:25 each morningIt is imperative that students arrive on time and report to their testing locations upon arrival.   

     

    Lunch: Lunch will be served on a normal schedule.  

     

    Items to Bring: 2- #2 pencils each day of testing 

     

    **NOTE: Book bags, Cell Phones, Smartwatches, and other electronic devices are NOT ALLOWED in the secure testing environmentThese items will be left in the hallway during testing.  

    ***There is no need to bring a calculator to testing.  Calculators will be provided, and all students will have access to the built-in calculator within the Algebra Testing Platform.
