Kim Cornelison (ESOL Teacher)

Hello!  My name is Kim Cornelison and I am the new ESOL teacher for Settles Bridge.  I have taught for 9 years - four years in ESOL in Forsyth County, and the last five years in 3rd grade in Oklahoma.  I am so thankful to be back in Georgia and serving the EL students at SBE.

I graduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia and my Master's from University of West Georgia.  I am looking forward to an amazing year of learning new things with my fantastic students and their families!

I am so excited for my 8th year here at SBE and my first year as K-5 Math EIP teacher. I began my teaching career in 1999. I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston. I completed my M.Ed. at Auburn University (2003) and finished my Ed.S in Teacher Leadership/Inclusive Education in 2012. I earned my Gifted Certification in 2013. I am also certified in MS Math and Social Studies. My husband and I have two sons Seth (10th-Lambert) and Evan (8th-RMS). We love being here in Forsyth County and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
