I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and I also received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am gifted and ESOL endorsed. I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. Previously I taught at Chestatee for 10 years, and middle school in California before moving to Georgia. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Development as well as teaching certification from California State University, Fullerton. I achieved my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership, and Leadership endorsement/credentials from North Georgia University, where I also taught Masters level Reading Endorsement courses for 4 years. I earned a PhD in Educational Policy Analysis from GA State and am also endorsed in Reading, ESOL, Teacher Support Specialist, Online Teaching, Teacher Leadership, Gifted, and Special Education. I have taught for over 20 years, serving Kindergarten through Fifth grade, and love every minute. I am currently teaching EIP and Gifted this year. I am a graduate from North Georgia College and Mercer University.

I am entering my 26th year of teaching. My career began as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher and I have spent the last 14 years teaching EIP (Early Intervention Program) in reading and math for all grade levels. I currently have degrees in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership.
