I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and I also received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am gifted and ESOL endorsed. I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to an engaging and exciting year teaching EIP and ESOL! 260301

Mary Beth Martell ESOL I am entering my fifth year of teaching at Settles Bridge Elementary and feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this learning community. After 4 years of teaching 4th grade, I will be teaching ESOL full time this year. I am a graduate of Michigan State University, and taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in Lansing, Michigan before moving to Georgia. I received my ESOL Endorsement in 2016. Teaching English Learners, and welcoming newcomers has always been my passion, so I am delighted to have this opportunity. I look forward to this new role, and to welcoming and working with new Settles Bridge Stars as well as Stars who I already know!

Carla Tatum EIP I am entering my 27th year of teaching. My career began as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher and I have spent the last 15 years teaching EIP (Early Intervention Program) in reading and math for all grade levels. I currently have degrees in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership.
