I feel like Annie in the movie of the same name when she exclaimed in song, "I know I'm going to like it here'". Previously, I was privileged to be employed by Fulton County School District for 10 years, at New Prospect ES-home of the Panthers. There I worked as an Interrelated Special Education Teacher for grades; 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Special Needs Kindergarten, and then ultimately Special Needs Pre-k. Prior to beginning my career in Fulton, I worked for Henry County Schools where I taught middle school. During the span of my career, I have worked in a variety of settings from resource to team-taught, and have worked with all types of learners.I have a Masters degree in Special Education from Valdosta State University, and a Teacher Leader endorsement. I've been blessed to have received multiple awards and opportunities as a Georgia educator, including New Prospect Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2015-2016, a Fulton County Teacher of the Year Finalist, and a Superintendent Teachers Council Representative. In addition to having the privilege of serving Georgia schools' families, I have also been blessed to serve as a Family Support Group Leader to military families during my husband's active duty time in the Armed Forces. 260309 email@example.com Kelly Chamblee IRR I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Southern Methodist University. Hello Settles Bridge Stars! I am excited to continue working with our special needs Pre-K students this school year. I have worked with Forsyth County since 2016 and previously worked with Babies Can’t Wait with children ages birth to three with developmental delays. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and from Valdosta State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I love working with our children and their families through the school system! I am also a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and do contract work with the foster care system. I love to travel and have as much cuddle time as possible with my sweet puppy Ollie!

My Early Childhood/Special Education degree is from Radford University in Virginia. Twenty six years ago I began my teaching career in West Virginia, and in 1985 relocated to Georgia. My experience includes teaching self-contained special education, general education, and interrelated resource. I am a proud mom of two adult children who are both following their own passions, and using their talents in organic farming and theatre. This is my seventh year teaching in the Accommodated Curriculum Autism classroom at Settles Bridge and my 19th year in the teaching profession.
