I am so excited for year 14 here at Settles Bridge Elementary. I am one of the SBE Gifted Program Coordinators, the 4th and 5th grade Advanced Math teacher, and I manage the morning news crew. Feel free to reach out with questions. I graduated from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with my undergraduate in Early Childhood Education. While teaching, I continued on at Piedmont College for both my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and my Specialists degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I also hold endorsements in both Gifted and Science. I have a wonderful husband, a third grader named Walker, and a little girl named Keira. I love learning and instilling a love of learning in my students. Get ready for a year filled with learning, laughing, and fun! :)

I am excited to be continuing to be part of the SBE family this year. This will be my 15th year in Forsyth County and my second year serving as one of the Gifted Coordinators. I graduated from North Georgia with my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Special Education. I continued on to Georgia State for my Masters in Reading, Language, and Literacy. I then went to Piedmont College and received my Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. I also have my Endorsements in Gifted and Reading. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and cheering on my favorite football team. Go Dawgs! I enjoy learning new things and love helping my students learn new things as well. I look forward to the new school year!
