My name is Vanessa Arroyo and I am very excited to continue teaching 1st grade DLI at Brandywine Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. I look forward to building relationships with my students and to create a love for learning.

My name is Angela Mays, I came to Brandywine from Sweet Apple Elementary in Roswell. I have been teaching first and second grade for over twenty years. I live in Milton, but I'm only 8 minutes from Brandywine! My daughter Bella just graduated from Clemson, go Tigers! My husband Alan and I enjoy bike riding on The Greenway, hosting cookouts with friends and family, and traveling to places with great beaches!

My name is Lisa Rodriguez and I am excited to begin my ninth year at BWE. Before coming to Brandywine, I taught first grade at Settles Bridge Elementary for ten years. I have my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Florida and my Master’s Degree from Lesley University. My husband and I have two sons. I love traveling, reading, and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to a fabulous year!

Hello friends! I am Kaylie Scott, the 1st grade DLI English teacher. Sra. Arroyo and I have been partners for almost 4 years now! This is my 14th year teaching, and I am very excited to meet all of our new friends!! I graduated from University of West GA with my bachelors and went on to Georgia Southern to gain my Masters and Specialists degrees. I also received my Reading and ESOL endorsement while at Georgia Southern. I am currently in my 2nd year of my E.D.D. program at Brenau University focusing on Parent Involvement and Perceptions of our two way Dual Language program here in Forsyth. My teaching career has consisted of 2 years in 4th grade in Cobb County, 2 years Kindergaten in Augusta, Ga, and the rest here in Forsyth in Kindergarten and 1st grade. I am so happy to welcome you into my family and I hope you are HAPPY too! :)  

My name is Sandra Teixeira. I am looking forward to my 6th year at Brandywine and 9th year of teaching! I received my degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. Go Owls! My husband and I have a 5-year-old son that keeps us very busy. I love to cook, exercise, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with family. I am looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning and fun!

I'm Natalie Zoeckler. I have been married to Rick for 30 years, and I have 2 teen daughters. I graduated from Kent State University in 1991. I taught in Fulton County for 15 years and Forsyth for 13 years. I am passionate about my students and teaching. I love being a part of the Brandywine Family!!!
