    Kelley  Lyndsey Kelley
     My name is Lyndsey Kelley, I recently moved here from Cape Coral, Florida where I taught for 7 years. I graduated from Edison State College with a degree in Elementary Education.  I have three kids ages 12, 10 and 3. We keep busy by going to baseball and soccer practice.  I am excited to start this new journey here at Brandywine Elementary.

    Beattie   Veronica Beattie

    Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Veronica Beattie and I am so excited to begin my 18th year in teaching. I have spent the last 14 years teaching in Forsyth County, and have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I live at home with my husband, our 3 children and 3 pets.  When I am not teaching, you can find me curled up with a great book as I love to read! I am looking forward to a great year!

    Rossi    Ana Rossi (DLI)
     I am very happy  to be a part of the DLI  team at Brandywine!  I have taught Kindergarten for 11 years, 9 of those  have been in a dual language program.  I have  taught  all grades except  second. I graduated from Eastern College in Pennsylvania and received my Masters in Education from Reinhardt University here in Georgia. Prior to working with  Forsyth,  I worked for Fulton County Schools. 

    My husband James and I have lived in Georgia for 22 years. We have three wonderful children; Sergio (27),   Francesca (24) , and Giulianna (19). When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, going to the gym  or watching movies.

    McDearmon    Kate McDearmon
    My name is Kate McDearmon, and I am thrilled to be a Brandywine Badger! This is my 12th year of teaching and my fourth year at BWE. For the past few years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to stay at home with my children (Alice, 7, and Miles, 5). Prior to this, I taught 2nd and 4th grades in Gwinnett County, Phenix City, Alabama, and an American school in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My daughter was born in Brazil, and we decided to return home to Atlanta to be close to family. I have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia. In addition, I hold ESOL certification and elementary mathematics and reading endorsements. My husband, Brian, is a high school English teacher in Fulton County, and we enjoy living in the Alpharetta community. In my free time, I love to play the flute and go on adventures with my family. 3rd grade is an incredible year of learning and growth, and I feel privileged to spend it with you and your child!

    Stuparits    Michelle Stuparits

    Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Michelle Stuparits and I am excited to begin my 13th year of teaching. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, and Third. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/ Special Education (P-5).

    When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling, hiking, and dining at Atlanta restaurants. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have been married to my husband, Michael, for almost 10 years. We have a pet dog and cat. We also like going to Atlanta United and Georgia Tech games. 

    This year will be filled with fun, learning, and excitement! I am looking forward to building positive relationships with my students and having an amazing school year!

    OKeefe   Amy O'Keefe

    My name is Amy O’Keefe, and I am excited to be teaching third grade at Brandywine again this year! I have taught in both public and private schools all over the country from Monroe, GA to Gainesville, FL to Malibu, CA to New Haven, CT over the past twenty-seven years. I have also taught in Forsyth and Fulton Counties over that time period as well. 

    I received my Early Childhood degree from the University of Georgia and my Masters degree in Early Childhood from Georgia State University. Years later, I got my Specialists degree from Piedmont College in Teaching and Learning. I have taught first, third, fourth, and fifth grades.

    I have been married to my husband, Brian, for twenty-two years. We have a nineteen-year-old son who will be a sophomore in college this year. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, and playing tennis.

    Guttery Jane Guttery

    This is my fourth year with Forsyth County Schools. I am transferring from Whitlow Elementary. Previously, I taught grades 1-7th in Dekalb and Fulton Counties. I am a native of Atlanta. I have a daughter who lives in Orlando and a son and daughter-in-law who live in Greenwood, South Carolina. I have a grandson named Nathaniel who is the apple of Grandmama's eye! I also have two dogs a chiweenie and a terrier-catahoula mix who I love to walk.

    When I am not teaching or spending time with family, I love to travel, cook, and cheer on the Georgia Dawgs and Atlanta Braves. The beach is my happy place!

    Tossing   Kendall Tossing

    Hello!  My name is Kendall Tossing, and I am so excited to be joining the Brandywine team!  I am originally from Oswego, IL so I am a huge Chicago sports fan.  Go Cubbies!

    I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Mathematics. 

    In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, playing volleyball, and game nights with friends and family.  I am so excited about learning and growing in 3rd grade!  Go Badgers!!
